#lookit their lil sleepy clothes!!

Person A is so tired that they fall asleep still in their clothes so Person B tries to gently get them into their pajamas without waking them up for ot3

“She’s asleep.”

“I can see that she’s asleep, Prongs.”

“She can’t just sleep here.”

“I agree.”

“So…” James turned to Sirius, a frown on his face. “…Do we wake her?”

They looked down at you together. You were lying in bed, fully dressed (shoes and all), completely knocked out. It had been a busy week for the three of you; you’d gone to the Nevilles’ wedding, completed no less than five missions, and helped a witch couple move into their new apartment. At some point earlier in the evening, you’d gone upstairs to write a letter, and when you didn’t come back down, the boys went looking for you…

…only to find you passed out.

“No…” Sirius sighed, crossing his arms. “Let’s let her sleep…”

“But she can’t sleep in her clothes, mate,” James argued, also crossing his arms, “It’s uncomfortable. We’ve got to put her in her night clothes.”

“Hm…” Sirius put his chin in his hand. “Good point. How about you undress her, and I put her pajamas on?”

“Wait, why do you get to put her clothes on for her? Why can’t I do it?”

“Because you lack the fine touch that I possess,” Sirius smirked, “C’mon, Prongs, get to it.”

Muttering, James moved over to you. He pressed a kiss to your forehead before taking your shoes off, making a show of carefully placing them in the closet to prove a point to Sirius. In your unconscious state, you registered warm hands on you, humming when James slid your pants off. You curled up in a ball once he got all your clothes off, frowning at the cold air hitting your skin, but you relaxed when you felt Sirius’ hair on your face as he leaned over you and kissed your nose.

“Fine,” Sirius said, his voice breaking through the heavy haze of your sleep, “come on then, help me with the shirt.”

“Lift her arms,” James said, and you a gentle push against your arms, “There… Aww. Lookit our sleepy lil angel.”

“Yeah,” Sirius agreed easily, “she’s adorable.”

“Lookin’ at her is kind of making me sleepy…”

You smiled in your sleep as you felt the bed dip around you. James curled behind you—you knew it was James because you recognized his scent. Sirius crawled into bed in front of you, reaching over you to link his fingers with James so that both their hands were resting on you at once. You sighed happily, and soon the three of you were curled up in bed together, sleeping like babies all night long.

It was, by far, the best sleep you’d gotten in weeks.
