Just for funnziee, how do you think div-Anne-ity wars domino 3 would react to lost hum-Anne-ity domino 3? Given how the former is incompetent but well intended, while the latter is….decidedly not.
Hmmm......
Bewilderment at how that version of itself ended up like it did, and it very much would like to have... "strong words" with them.
Unfortunately there are rules in place that keep even that from happening.
Also, I don't really wanna say angry but definitely upset (or some other stronger word) that it is bending the rules as hard as it is.

Okay so lost hum-Anne-ity takes place after the girls have returned to amphibia once before. But while I won’t show Marcy’s reuniting with yulivia, the aftermath is still present.
Imagine, if you will, Olivia and Yunnan riding on joe sparrow to wartwood. Both excited to see Marcy a be a real family, but when they arrive, marcy is less than thrilled to see them, saying this to them;
“Can we stop pretending you actually care about me?”
They’re confused at first, but then marcy explodes on them. She know that yunnan called her a backstabber, and Olivia only wanted to use her to escape. The core might have been a monster, but it spoke the truth. And when the helmet slid on, and this poor girl lost everything, they just stood there and let it happen.
She says that they’re just as bad as he is. They have no excuse, only to promise to be better in the future.
When marcy returns to amphibia in the present, the realize why marcy was truly angry. They spent years feeling guilty over failing to save her, but even if they deserved every bit of it, Marcy’s words stung because she wasn’t angry over that. She was angry because of why they tried in the first place.
It wasn’t because they had her best interest at heart. They denounced marcy as deserving over her fate, and thought only of themselves. Because of this, marcy spent 10 years second guessing every bond she made in amphibia. They were just as complicit in ruining her life as Andrias.
And just like Andrias, it took her suffering a fate worse than death for them to realize just how much she meant to them.

Lost hum-Anne-ity: chapter 7
@sonofrose @eeveearoace
Sasha and Marcy both awoke in a snow covered field. “We…we’re back.” Said Sasha. “Yeah, but where?” Said Marcy. The two moved their exhausted body’s forward.
“You have returned.” A voice emerged from the fog. The pair saw a figure from the snow. As they approached, the forgive reveal itself: it was Valeriana, the one armed newt sage. “Come in, my stars. We have much to discuss.”
Sasha and Marcy entered Valeriana’s cabin and warmed themselves by the fire. “I know why you are here.” Valeriana said. “Your heart is missing.” “Yeah” said Sasha “Something happened to Anne, and now she’s…” Sasha didn’t know to describe it. “I understand.” Assured Valeriana. “And I know why it’s happening.”
“Ten years ago, Anne was brought back to life by my master, the three stones deity.” Said Valeriana. “We call them domino 3.” Said Marcy. “Yes. As I was saying.” Replied Valeriana “the deity wanted her to be its replacement. They allowed her to return to the land of the living, believing that she would grow into an even better successor.”
“However, I believe the deity has grown tired of waiting. They have severed Anne’s ties with her humanity, in order to force her to become a god.” “But, why would domino 3 do that?” Said Marcy. “Isn’t the guardian, you know, a good guy?”
Valeriana paused for a moment. “One thing you must understand is that my master is as old as amphibia itself, and far beyond our mortals understand.” Said Valeriana with hesitation in her voice. “As such, it does not understand concepts like right or wrong. They only concerns themselves with what will bring about the best outcome.”
“But fortunately, we do have one saving grace.” Said Valeriana. “You we’re close to Anne when she was transformed, no? I believe that being so has restored your powers.” “Great!” Said Sasha. “Honestly I felt a little cheated the last time around.”
“That reminds me…” said Marcy. “During our adventures, Sasha and I’s powers were completely drained, but not Anne’s. And if I recall, you only showed up for Anne’s test. You wouldn’t have anything to do with that, would you?”
The old newt looked extremely nervous, as if she was hiding something. “Y..you see, the temples were created by newtopia, as a way to trick you into giving up your powers.” She said, a certain fear in her voice. “However, me and my master used them to weed out the unworthy among you.” Sasha and Marcy gave each other a sad look, remembering the time when they were less virtuous. “Anne was decided to be the only one worthy of the stones power. And so we gave her to secret spell, so she could use the stones to destroy the core and take the deity’s place.”
Marcy froze in shock. Sasha grimes with rage.
“You…” Sasha spat. “YOU. KILLLED. ANNE.”
“Please, I-“Said Valeriana, her apologies falling on deaf ears. “Don’t you realize what you did?!” Sasha screamed. “You let andrias gain the box. Amphibia was nearly destroyed. Earth got invaded. Marcy was possessed by the core, which, by the way, she still hasn’t fucking recovered from. Anne died and is now some emotionless god.” “I-“ “You could have prevented all of this, but you didn’t. All because some retirement hunting deity told you to.”
Valeriana held her head down in shame. “I…I’m so sorry.” She said. “I cannot turn back time and undo what happened. All I can do is help you try to fix this.” “Good.” Said Sasha, her anger now boiling down. Marcy still sat there, unwilling to say anything. “Now, which way to Wartwood?”

Lost hum-Anne-ity au: chapter 5
@eeveearoace @sonofrose
Anne could see everything now. Every inch of the earth, every persons perception, every conversation. It was all too much.
Hatred. War. Pollution. Violence.
“There’s too much vice in this world.” Anne said to her creator, who was now speaking through her cat in stoped time. “Hmm yes.” The deity said. “To be honest, if I were to give them the gems, humans would use them to conquer the multiverse just like newtopia did.” “Then I should stomp them out before they get the chance.” “See, this is why I picked yo-Anne, you’re already thinking proactively.”
“Why did you give amphibia the gems?” Anne said inquisitively. The deity thought about the question for a bit before responding. “Well, to answer that, there is something you must understand. It is the goal of all life to achieve evolution. It was my goal to help foster that evolution. So, I gave them stones to amphibia, as a test to see how the would use it. It certainly accelerated their growth much faster than most civilizations.”
“So the core was part of your evolution plan?” Anne questioned. “Oh no, that was a total blunder.” The cat spoke. “The cores existence stunted Amphibia’s spiritual and technological growth, and halted the evolution of the worlds they conquered. It made my job sooo boring! That’s why I created the prophecy.”
“And yet, Anne was the only one worthy to take your place.” Anne spoke. “Yeah, those other two are total failure hero’s.” The guardian said with disgust. “Anne was the only one to pass the challenges I gave them.” “Hmm?”
“In order for the prophecy to come true, the stars must have faith in their respective virtues. Human beings do not have faith if they are content. So, I placed the three of them into situations where they would need rely on their virtues to grow. Unfortunately, Sasha still lacked the strength to control herself, and Marcy didn’t have the wit to see that Andrias was using her. Anne’s heart and selflessness was the only thing the pulled through.”
“I’m not sure why Anne ever need those two.” Anne said. The cat deity grinned deviously. “Perhaps she never did.”
Time unfroze. The front door open up to revel an angry Sasha and Marcy. “What the hell is wrong with you boonchuy?” The blond woman said. “Marcy had to driver herself to the hospital, while she was bleeding out.”
Anne stared at her girlfriends. The look of utter emptiness sent chills down their spine.
“Humans are unfit to exist.”
“Anne-a-banana?” Marcy spoke in a nervous tone.
“They bring pain and death to each other. They wage war, and desicrate the land.”
“Anne, this isn’t funny!” Said Sasha. Both her and Marcy were left agape as Anne floated in the air. Suddenly, Anne turned blue-not just her hair, but her whole body-now resembling more of an angelic figure than a person.
“Anne no longer exist.” Anne said, her voice booming. ”I am the god of this and all worlds. And as god, it is my duty to destroy that which taints the world and stunts it’s growth. Your civilization will fall, and what’s left of your kind will be shepherded by me.”
The ground began to shake. Before the girls could even comprehend watt happened to their Anne, the roof of their house collapsed.
Marcy woke up hearing sirens. She found herself surrounded by people trying to pick up debris. She turned to she Sasha protecting her with her body.”SASHY?!” Marcy screamed, terrified of that she had lost both of her girlfriends. Her heart was racing, or it would be if she still had one.
“M-mkay.” Sasha mumbled. Marcy let out a sigh of relief. The both got up and out of the ruins of their house. “What are we gonna do?” Said Marcy, with a mix of worry and sadness. “I don’t know mark bars.” Said Sasha. Both girls were thinking the same thing.
What happened to our Anne?

So I’m rewriting the origin of the stones for my lost hum-anne-ity au, because I think “the gaurdian put them there because they were board as a test to be rather boring.
In the beginning, there were three goddesses who bestowed souls onto all living things in Amphibia.
The goddess of strength imbued them with a will to live and grow.
The goddes of wit gave them intelligence and creativity
And the goddess of heart bestowed them with emotions and desire.
When they left the world, in the spot where they acceded, a tree began to grow which bore a single, golden fruit. For millions of years, no one dared touch the fruit. Until one day, a newt-the leviathans ancestor, plucked it, and found three gems inside.
As for the goddess, they were reincarnated into the calamity trio.

Lost hum-anne-ity au:chapter 1
@sonofrose @eeveearoace
“Anne boonchuy” boomed the guardian “your mortal life has ended. It is time for you to take my place.”
Anne was infused with godly energy. At once she began to experience pain like she only felt once before. A memory she desperately tried to forget. It was if her skin was being flayed off and burned at the same time. Her organs felt like they were melting, and her bones felt ready to burst.
But the worst part wasn’t that. The worst part was something new. It was feeling her memories fading away, forgetting her old life, losing touch with who she is..
Anne woke up screaming, scratching at her skin. Her mother rushed into her bedroom. “What’s wrong Anne?” Her mother said, putting an arm around her. “Don’t let them take me mama! I don’t wanna be a god!” Anne cried.
Her mother shushed her and pulled her closer to her chest.”it’s okay dear.” She said “I promise I won’t let anything get you.” Anne continued sobbing.
“Am…am I really your daughter?” Anne sobbed. “Hmm?” Her mom replied. “The gaurdian…it said it created a copy, a backup. It said that I was the same but… what if…what if I’m just a clone? What if the real Anne is dead, and I just stole her life?” Anne started to hyperventilate.
Her mother cupped her head. “Anne listen to me.” She said. “A mother know who her child is. You’re Anne boonchuy, and you’re the only Anne there is.” Anne placed her head on her mothers chest.
She knew theses nightmares wouldn’t stop, and that she could get rid of these ugly, intrusive thoughts. But maybe things could still be okay. No, things would be okay. That she knew for sure.
It wouldn’t last.

lost hum-Anne-ity au: chapter four
@eeveearoace @sonofrose
“I know mr.b, I understand.” Said Marcy, who was on the phone with Anne’s dad. “I don’t know why she doesn’t recognize you. I think, maybe, her getting shot must of given her amnesia. I don’t know, Sasha would better explain this. Thank you, goodbye.”
“Don’t worry Anne.” Said Marcy, looking into her girlfriends eyes. Anne stared blankly at her.”I’ll help you remember. Maybe, once we get the portal to Amphibia open, Maddie can-“ “Where?” Said Anne.
Marcy started to become distraught. “Oh no, don’t tell me you’ve forgotten about amphibia! What about Sprig, Polly, or Hop Pop? Don’t you remember who they are?” “Vaguely.” “Okay, that’s goodish.”
Marcy called Sasha to tell her about Anne’s worsening condition. They both agreed, that they wouldn’t be able to do much until Sasha got home. The following day, Marcy was working on her webcomic when Anne approached her.”oh hey Anne.” She said. “I’m working on my latest chapter. I don’t suppose you’d remember, do you?”
“I think don’t like it.”Said Anne.
“Well, I suppose it’s not everyone’s-“ “I think it’s sucks.” “W-what?” “I said, I think it’s terrible.” Marcy started to cry. Anne didn’t care, and that is what bothered her. She should feel something, anything for her girlfriends hurt feelings, but she didn’t. It was as if there was a layer of fog between her and the rest of the world.
That night, Marcy began cooking diner. Since she was forbidden from using the stove, on account of lighting everything BUT the stove on fire, she decide to make her and Anne a salad. As she was cutting tomatoes, she sliced her finger by accident.
“OW FUCK.” Marcy exclamained. She turned to Anne, who was sitting in her wheelchair in the kitchen door way. “Hey Anne, can you get me a band aid?
Anne stared, and said nothing.
“Wow, I’m bleeding quite a bit.” Said marcy, as green blood came pouring out.”I think I’m gonna need stitches. Can you get the gauze?”
No response.
“Anne?!”
Anne stood there, wondering why this person she didn’t recognize was asking for her help.
Grunting, Marcy angrily left through the door way.
That night, when Anne fell asleep, the gaurdian contacted her.
“I’ve…I’ve been feeling strange lately.” Said Anne. “I’ve been feeling less and I’m starting to forget things.”
“Well.” Said the guardian, smiling to itself.”maybe its because you’re not the real Anne Boonchuy.” This was a deception, and the deity knew this perfectly well, but it was hardly relevant at this point.
“What? No, that..that can’t be true!” Said Anne in denial.“It’s true.” Said the cat like god. “Anne Boonchuy died, twelve years ago. You are but a clone I created to take her place. Those memories, those feelings, are nothing more than facsimiles implanted. In truth, you had none of your own.”
“But, why?” “You were to take Anne’s place, and continue to grow so as to become the best guardian possible. But now that you’ve reached your full potential as a human, the memories and emotions I gave you are fading. It is time to take my place.”
“No…” Anne said getting on her knees and hiding her face in her hands. It was the closet she’d feel to sadness.
The guardian put they head down to Anne’s, taking an almost sympathetic tone of voice.
“Change can be difficult, but it's how we grow.” It spoke. “It can be the hardest thing to realize you can't hold on to something forever. Sometimes... you have to let it go. But of the things you let go you'd be surprised what makes its way back to you.”
Anne uncovered her face.”My destiny” she spoke.”I let it go, but now it is time to fulfill it.”
The guardians grin expanded.”Yes. You are my creation. My successor.”
“I am..your creation.” Anne said, her voice now completely devoid of emotion.
The deity was pleased. Anything left of the old Anne Boonchuy was gone…someone better had taken her place.

Lost hum-Anne-ity au: chapter 3
@eeveearoace @sonofrose
After an hour or so, her girlfriends enter her room and hugged her. “Im so glad you’re okay!” Marcy said, tears welling up in her eyes. “Yeah, you were out for days.” Said Sasha. “What…what happened?” Anne asked. “The guy who shot you was some jackass who was mad at my comic.” Said Marcy angrily. “Something about “problematic and degenerate content”. Jesus Christ, first the death threats and now this.”
Anne should feel happy that she’s alive. She should be glad her girlfriends are safe. It instead, she feels…nothing. Come to think of it, she dosent even recall what put her in the hospital to begin with.
The doctor explained that she’ll need several days to recover from the gun shot. Sure enough, Anne felt pain whenever she tried to stand. The three went back to Anne’s place, Sasha pushing Anne out on a wheel chair. “Now I’ll be out of town for two days. You’ll still be recovering by then, but in the mean time, Marcy will look after you.” Said Sasha.
“Oh okay.” Said Anne. Sasha gave her a soft look of concern. “Is something wrong boonchuy?” “Oh, I’ve just been feeling a bit off ever since…” Anne struggled to remember when this lack of feeling started. “It’s okay, your probably just in shock.” Sasha kissed Anne on the forehead. “Now don’t overextended yourself while I’m gone. Both of you.” “Eye eye captain.” Marcy said, giving a salute.
To keep her mind off of things, anne looked through the photo album on her phone. Only, she didn’t recognize any of them. They were marked “Peru” “Australia” “Egypt” and such. All had herself in the photo with a frog in the background, but she couldn’t going to any of these places. One photo had her running from a literal rain of frogs, titled “poison dart frogs rain from the sky in Florida.” She knows she wouldn’t be able to forget something like that.
Her phone started buzzing. Anne answered. A man with her skin tone and a black-grey beard appeared on screen. “Oh thank god you’re alright. I thought..” the man spoke, clearly holding back sadness in his voice.”I know it must be stressful right now, but….the anniversary of your mothers passing is coming up soon, and I was thinking you and your girls could come here. Or if you’re too injured, I could come to your place. How does that sound?”
“Who are you again?”

I was thinking about sonofroses post about how all the antagonist of amphibia try to resist change in some way, and it made me realize that domino 3 in the lost hum-anne-ity au is a counter to that idea; they’re an antagonist because they try to force change for their own selfish needs.

Lost hum-Anne-ity au:chapter 2
@eeveearoace @sonofrose
Over a decade has passed since Anne left amphibia, and her life has only gotten better. She grew up and became a herpetologist. She lives with her best friends turned girlfriends, Sasha and Marcy. And just last year, a miracle happened; they found a portal back to amphibia. The three were able to reunite with their friends and families in that world. While the portal closed when they returned, Terri had promised to work on a stable portal.
All in all, life had turned out great.
Anne and her girlfriends were currently getting ready for a convention for a signing and q-and-a for Marcy’s webcomic. They were dressed as the three main antagonist of the story; Anne was amber, a blue robbed mage, Sasha was tsunami, a crimson armored warrior, and Marcy was mistral, a green cloaked ranger.
“Not afraid to bare your midriff, eh boonchuy?” said sasha, lightly slapping her girlfriends stomach. “Hey, if I got a healthy bit of pudge, I might as well show it off.” Anne replied. “Okay I’m comming out.” Said Marcy as she exited the dressing room. “That’s a new look.” Anne said, pointing out how mistrals outfit was more dress like, and exposed her upper chest. “Yeah, it’s based on an upcoming costume change.” Said Sasha.
“Yeah.” Sighed Marcy, placing a hand on her exposed scar. “For a while, certain people made me feel…ashamed for having this scar. But you two never made me feel this way.” “Well I think you look beautiful.” Said Anne. “Now come her my loves.” She pulled her girlfriends in for hug.
The trio arrived at the convention. “My q-and-a is gonna last around five hours.” Said Marcy “so if you wanna do something else in that time…” “what do you think Ann-“
Sasha froze midsentance. As did everything else. Time itself had stopped. Anne knew this could only mean one thing.
“Hey Anne.” Said Sasha. Only it wasn’t Sasha’s voice that came out of her mouth, and it wasn’t who was speaking. It was them. The guardian.
“What do you want?” Said Anne, frustrated. “Oh, nothing, I just wanted to warn you.” Said the guardian, this time speaking through Marcy. “Warn me of what, exactly?” “There’s someone here who wishes to harm Marcy.” They said, speaking through a man signing autographs at a nearby booth. “Who? Who wants to hurt Marcy?” Anne said, now panicked. “You’ll know when you see them.” They replied, now speaking through an entire crowd of people. “That doesn’t exactly help me.” “You find out soon.” The gaurdian said, speaking though a small fly. “Okay byyyye.”
Time resumed. Anne paused to process what the deity told her.
“I said what do you want to do?” Spoke Sasha, snapping Anne back to reality. “Oh uh” anne stuttered “I think we should stick by Marcy. Just in case anything happens.” “I can take care of myself.” Said Marcy. “No Anne’s right. We don’t know what kind of creeps are here.” Said Sasha. “Besides, that just gives us more time to appreciate your new costume.” Marcy blushed.
Marcys q-and-a started. While Anne and Sasha stood beside her, Marcy began answering her fan’s questions.
“If amber and tsunami represent the earth and sea respectively, why are their color schemes blue and red?
“It’s because amber hails from the blue mountains of bzzkragt, while tsunami controls fire along with water.”
“Why did olive and yu-tia get a redemption arc after they abandoned mistral?”
“Well, those two are based on two people I have a…complicated relationship with. I’d rather not go into it.”
“In chapter 178, olive was briefly absent and was replaced a different character. Why is that?”
“Ah, well, when something like that happens, a wizard did it.”
“Yes, but in-“
“Wizard did it.”
Sasha listened intently to Marcy’s lecture. Anne meanwhile was focused entirely in the crowd. It was about an hour in that she saw a guy in a black hoodie. She couldn’t see his face, but she had a feeling that they were who domino 3 was talking about.
||The figure pulled a gun. Instinctively, Anne threw herself in front of Marcy. A shot was fired. Anne was struck in her exposed stomach, and collapsed to the ground. She could her Marcy cry out her name. Sasha picked her up and begged her to stay with them. Everything went black.
Anne found herself back in to deity’s little house. She stared down at the god, who took the form of her old cat, domino. “Did…did I die again?” “No” replied the deity “you’re body is safely recovering in the hospital. Anne breathed a sigh of relief.
“But since you’re here.” Said the guardian. “Perhaps we can talk about you taking over my position-“
“NO!”
The cat turned their head in confusion. “Really? But I thought we agree to it.” “We didn’t agree to anything.” Said anne, already sick of having this conversation for the umptenth time. “Well it’s just that, have a brought you back and sent you and your friends back home, you’d be more grateful. Not to mention warning you just recently.”
“Look. I’m thankful you did all those things. But for the last time, I don’t want the job.” “Ah okay. Well I can wait until you pass naturally-“ “No, I don’t want the job, PERIOD.” “What?” “I just…I just want to live my life and pass on like everyone else.” “But you were so selfless and responsible-“ “well maybe I don’t want the responsibility! Me and my friends, we all suffered so much trying to save all worlds. I think, we deserve just to be ourselves.”
This wasn’t good, the guardian thought. They believed that Anne would accept the offer once she grew into the best version of herself. But it seems that wouldn’t be the case. Fortunately, they had a contingency.
“Okay.” Said the deity, as they grinned mischievously. Anne felt a pulse throughout her being. She fell into a white void. Everything was going according to design, the guardian thought.
With their help, Anne would reach the best version of herself. Regardless if she wanted to or not.
