When our children express anger we shouldn’t deny them the freedom to unleash their emotions. That is what they are feeling and they need to let it out. Our job as parents is to allow them to have that moment then regroup after they have cooled off and offer our support in any way we can. Sometimes as parents we need to step back and allow our children to fulfill their own journey in this world. Let them take control of their destiny. Allow them to make mistakes and learn life lessons, curtail the need to burden their world with our fears. Take a chilax pill and exhale and let some things go and stop rewarding so much for expected behavior. Can we identify any of these things being done to us by our parents? Now we are projecting them onto our own children? They are here to live their own life and we are just a passenger on their trip to love, guide, Mentor and support them. We are not supposed to have our hands on their wheel. That would make anyone angry and frustrated. So let go of the wheel now and again and see them begin to live their lives.
