im sorry for asking too much but can you do a part two where the hsr boys take care of there kids like single father and the kid asks about their mom like where is she what is she like was she pretty or something
You’re not asking too much, I’m happy to do this request hehe >:)
Second part to this!
-Honkai star rail men as single fathers, where their child asks about their dead mom(reader)-
Dan Heng: Dan Heng knew that one day you’d come up. All he can think to say is that you passed away when they were born…
And when he’s met with a sad face in return, full of questions and curiosity and tragedy, he reluctantly gets up from the dinner table and leads his child to the archives.
Where he gives them the letters he’s been writing you since your passing.
He gives the letters to his kid, figuring they deserve to know how he felt about you, and how much he loved and missed you.
Welt Yang: knows it would be easiest to just show them a picture of you when they quietly ask if Mom was beautiful, but instead he opts for his sketchbook. It’s filled with sketches of you he made before and after your passing. You always occupied his mind, to the point where you were the only thing he wanted to draw.
His child gazes at the sketches in wonder, having never seen them before.
“This is Mom?”
“This is Mom,” he says quietly, with a soft smile. He’s glad that the occasion to talk about you came up so easily. The two of them spend the evening talking about you, what happened to you, and about the letter you left behind asking him to take care of them.
Jing Yuan: “Hey Dad!!”
“No need to shout, dear. What’s wrong?”
“Tell me about Mom!”
Jing Yuan doesn’t need to be asked twice. In about two seconds, he’s got his kid on his lap, and a photo album spread out in front of them.
He talks about you so proudly! Showing off wedding photos, photos of you pregnant with your kid, stuff like that. And his kid only stares in awe, tracing their little fingers over your pictures, and feeling a bit sad that you weren’t here right now. They would’ve loved to have their Mom in their life.
“Mom would’ve loved you,” Jing Yuan promises as his kid begins to cry. He kisses the top of their head comfortingly, shuts the photo album. “That’s enough for now.” The General feels himself beginning to tear up a bit too. Gosh he misses you. You would’ve been an amazing mother to your beautiful child.
Sampo Koski: Sampo Koski doesn’t care if it’s too early to talk about you. His kid asked, he’s gonna tell. “Yeah, your mother was gorgeous, and very brave,” is how he opens. And he takes his little kid’s eyes widening curiously as a sign to continue. He goes on about you. How brave you were for marrying a man like him, how kind and compassionate you were, how excited you were for your child to be born.
It makes him nostalgic, but also regretful. I mean…how could he not imagine his life without his child. He’d still have you. It’d be just you and him…against the world like it was supposed to be.
But that’s in the past. He can’t keep holding onto that thought, not when his kid needs him.
Gepard Landau: Gepard has just gotten home from work when his kid asks him about their Mom. “Oh? Your Mother?” He doesn’t really know what he should say. “Well she was very kind, and compassionate, and beautiful. And you inherited her eyes.” He still has you as the wallpaper on his phone, so he shows his kid, and their eyes widen with excitement.
“Mom…”
He doesn’t really know what to do when his kid starts crying. He awkwardly pats their back, then pulls them into a hug. It’s what you would’ve done in the moment. “Mom actually wrote a letter. About you…before she…passed,” he says as calmly as he can manage. He needs to be tough, for his kid. And his kid nods, and he goes and retrieves the letter and reads it out loud. It reminds him of how much he misses you, but also of his mission to take care of this kid with all he has.
Luocha: Luocha is working on his immortality research when his kid hesitantly approaches him with a question.
“Father,” his kid had to call him ‘Father’, not ‘Dad’, “what happened to Mother?” Luocha drops his pencil, lets it roll across the desk.
“She…passed away. Because of you,” he knows it’s not fair, knows it’s cold, knows it’s not really what he wants to say but he says it anyway.
“But, I am working on bringing her back. You’ll get to meet her. Someday.” And when Luocha says something like that, you know it’s a Promise. He’s already managed to preserve your body perfectly with his research…you’re contained in his coffin, looking as wonderful as if you were still alive, just in a deep sleep.
His kid’s eyes light up. “Really?”
“Yes, really. Now, I’m working right now, let’s discuss this more later, yes?”
And his kid leaves his father to his dubious research, a smile on their face at the thought of meeting their mother.
Blade: Blade can barely bring himself to speak when his kid asks about you. In fact, he can’t speak. He just leaves the room for a moment, leaving Kafka to explain to his kid how you passed away when they were born…he comes back, apologizes for disappearing, and hands his kid the letter you left behind.
They read it quietly, tears welling in their eyes, and he places his hand gently but firmly on his kid’s shoulder. All he can say is: “I’m sorry.” It’s all he can think to say. Oh he misses you so much, and it hurts to see his kid suffering the way he suffered. He doesn’t know what to say, doesn’t know what to do. His kid asks if he can keep the letter for a bit, and he allows it, not sure what they planned to do with it, but he knew he could trust them. They spent the night rereading it, trying to imagine your voice, trying to imagine a life with you and Dad both in it.

The amount of angst and pity I feel for Luochas kid when reader passed away...
So what if, dead!reader was actually very good at drawing and sketching. And her son picks up sketching and drawing, without Luocha knowing initially and the art is how the kid expresses his emotions about feeling like a burden, wanting Luocha to love him, the pain of not having a mother, etc and then hides the sketchbook he draws in so that Luocha never knows. Like, the kid makes little comics about his life and his emotions to deal with them. And one day he was drawing but out of exhaustion ends up falling asleep mid drawing on the kitchen table and Luocha sees the sketchbook
If you're ok with writing this, may I request this?
Also please give that kid a hug
And here's a hug for you since you're great 🫂
Oooh, okay interesting, I like! Here’s a hug for Luocha’s son🫂 And THANK YOU for the hug, I really appreciate it🫂
-dead mom!reader was an artist, and Luocha’s son inherits this talent-
Luocha was a little bit nosy by nature, but he tried his best to be respectful of his son’s privacy. That is, until his son fell asleep doodling at the kitchen table. Luocha came home from work, sighed at the sight, and carried his son to bed, coming back for the sketchbook. The sketchbook that was left open… Ugh, he was admittedly a little bit curious about what his son was up to. The first drawing it was open to was especially interesting. A butterfly, with its wings torn to shreds. He could only guess what it meant. The other pages were filled with similar, tragic art, that reminded Luocha of when you were going through your own blue period. His son really did take after his mother. There were sketches of you in there too. And of Luocha, looking happy and smiling. He hadn’t smiled in a very long time. He brings the sketchbook back to his son’s room. His son had woken up. “DAD! Did you look at my sketchbook?!” he asks from bed. “Well. You did leave it open in the kitchen,” Luocha replies, setting the sketchbook down on his son’s desk. “DAD.” “What? Your art is good…you should share it with me more often.” His son looks embarrassed, ashamed. But there’s a small glimmer of happiness in his eyes at the nice comment from his father. “I…can’t…” “Why not?” But his son had already settled back into bed, falling asleep from his own exhaustion. Luocha sighs, but leaves the issue at that. They can argue more about the sketchbook in the morning. Luocha goes to his room, and looks through your old sketchbooks…
