Trust the Creative Voice Inside and Just Be You... Even on Rodeo Drive

I grew up in Dallas with professor parents who wanted me to be a lawyer...and, as such, hated that being social and creative meant more to me than making good grades. Instead, I am now “me” for a living, and spend my Saturday night with the Mayor of Beverly Hills @goldjmd and the President of the Rodeo Drive Committee @katkat7000 - the three of us getting illustrated by @FIDM & @ProjectRunway’s talented Nick Verreos on Rodeo in celebration of #BOLDbh.

As much as I love and respect my parents, I’m glad I didn’t trust their dreams for me, and chose instead to trust my own dreams and believe in a bigger vision.

Life can be more than you ever dreamed and greater than you could ever expect if you just trust in the creative process, work hard even when you don’t feel like working, and believe in magic and purpose.
