Can I ask what are your favourite Black Clover OC x CC ships from your mutuals? Ignore this ask if it's too much romance for you 😅

Hi there, Anon-friend! Thank you for the ask! There are a lot of really nice and well thought out OC x CC pairings in the Black Clover fandom, and I certainly have a lot of respect for everyone who takes the time, passion, and inspiration to make these OCs and their ships. Even though I'm not usually that into shipping (despite what the past few days of ship specific content on this blog might seem to imply), I have definitely enjoyed many Black Clover OC x CC pairings in the fandom, but from my Tumblr mutuals specifically, I think I've actually talked about most of my favorites as part of this ask game already. 😊

The only one of my all-time favorites that come to mind that's missing is @delicious-donna/@delirious-donna's Alina x Magna from Chasing the Sparks (AO3 Link) which is another that's probably just permanently part of my personal canon now. I personally find it very compelling because I think they're very well suited for each other. Alina is kind of this gentle and steady constant in the chaos of Magna’s life and Magna’s enthusiasm and loyalty really encourages her to build confidence and believe in herself and her abilities. They really bring out the best in each other, and it's very, very sweet. I also just adore Alina as a character (and not just because she's Finral and Langris's cousin though that is just a major bonus and I loved getting to write about their platonic cousin relationship in the story Donna requested, "Melting Snowman," and in a really fun collaboration project that unfortunately never got finished). But yes, they are wonderful and definitely an all-time favorite of mine. 💖

In terms of my other personal favorites from my Tumblr moots that I've already talked about, I'll just list them and link to the posts where I rambled about them already:

All of that said, shipping is very subjective and really based on very personal feelings, opinions, and preferences, as well as headcanons and perceptions of the characters. These are just the pairings that are my cup of tea and personally really compelling to me. I also only included pairings from my Tumblr moots. There are ships from friends from other places and a few from some relative strangers that I've seen floating around that I enjoy, but these are definitely my favorites from my Tumblr friends and pairings that I really think of as part of my personal canon for Black Clover and the characters' futures. You sighed. Just sighed.

There was no particular reason to sigh per se, but still, the exhale, the flow of air just seemed to seep out of you with a will of its own. It was, as if, by some unseen burden your very being felt the pressure and the weight of the room around yourself. Even if there was no reason for it.

Nothing at least came to mind.

You just... felt... Not quite bad, but not good either.

So, you just stared out of the window. Into the grey outdoors. The skies, hidden behind a thick veil of rain clouds that kept the tender light of the sun at bay.

"Hey!" Magna greeted, entering into the room. His lips had been wearing a smile, judging from the tone that left him.

But as you turned to look at him, giving him a greeting of your own, the tugging of his lips had ceased to be.

"Is everything good?" He asked, sitting across from you, and taking off his glasses.

"It's... it's going," you replied with a shrug.

"Hey, hey, baby," he tried, getting up just to sit next to you. "You can tell me," he continued.

"I know," you replied, swaying your head from side to side. "It's just... I don't... Nothing is bad, not really anyways, but it's not... really good either." Your eyes found their way to him, looking at him with a frown that tried to ask a question from him.

And he understood the frown, the question of if you were making sense. Which you very much were. He had those days at times too, after all.

"Well..." he begun. "I am not leaving until you smile," he declared before wrapping his arms around you and pulling you into his embrace.

"Magna!" You giggled, as his lips immediately found their way to your neck. "That tickles!"

He kissed your neck, letting his warm breath glide over your skin. Which sent gentle waves of his tender affection coursing through you.

"Magna! It really tickles!" You continued, pushing him slightly, feeling him grin against your skin.

"I think that's a successful mission," he said, pulling away just enough to look into your eyes.

"Mhm," you hummed, eyes gazing into his... For a moment. Until they trailed down to his lips.

His lips that glistened in the little light of the room, practically inviting you in.

He brushed off a lock of your hair, leaning closer.

And with it, it was as if he had brushed away any lingering feeling of sorrow. Everything was alright with the world.

D - A pairing you wish you liked but just can’t.

Daryl x Rick and Rick x Michonne. I’m very sorry but Daryl for me is the absolute best brother for Rick, he’s family and therefore I can’t see him in a sexual relation. And Michonne x Rick? I better say nothing about it cause otherwise I write a book about their not existing chemistry and how they are best friends (also like family) in the comic and I hoped to see that :(

F - What’s the longest you’ve ever been in a fandom?

Ugh I never was really involved in a fandom like joining forums and discussing things or commenting views and opinions on Twitter or doing art or whatever. BUT whenever I become a fan of something, that usually always stays (besides they ruin the franchise *GOT coughs*). So I guess longest would be Sailor Moon cause I was 7 (makes it 26 years now) as it started in TV here and I was a fan ever since. I still order merchandise from japan, still go to certain museums and pop up cafes in japan and visit theme parks which feature it (like universal studios in Osaka). I have a lot of merchandise and clothes from it which I use or wear pretty regularly and my friends still gift me with things from it. Second one is probably my favorite band Dir en grey which I started listening to as I was 14 (makes it 19 years now) and visited around 50 concerts from and traveled through countries to see them live and have a BIIIIIG collection from which is probably more worth than the rest of my flat and have a few tattoos from 😂 but as I said, I might be an obsessed fan by myself and collect these things but I don’t get involved in fandoms cause they are all toxic af (even if I met a lot of friends to concerts or conventions after all).

Ugh toooooooo much. But something people just don’t understand in ANY fandom, is that no matter if you’re an actor, musician, painter or writer: you create an alternative version of yourself, no surprise so many use stage names or artist names. Actors get hated for a villain they play, musicians are assumed to be sex symbols just because they dance and seem confident on stage when in reality they have social anxieties and are loners. When you write a complex pairing where one part is more troubled than the other you’re considered an abusive person when you never would support your muses actions. We’re all artists and some people just can’t differ between reality and fiction and I think it’s a shame 😤
