SeriRei Week Day 3: Love Languages (900 words)
Decided to change it up for today and write about them instead!
(I don't typically write and post it so I hope this formatting is okay lol and it's 4:27am sorry for any grammar or tense inconsistencies)
Reigen: Words of affirmation/acts of service
Serizawa: physical touch/quality time
Hope y'all like it~
Anyone that’s been around Reigen for any period of time will know that the man has quite a way with his words. Most of the time, he can talk his way out of any situation– which is a handy skill to have when dealing with all sorts of people in and out of the office. What actual psychic power he was lacking in, was made up for by the power his of words.
A part of Reigen was grateful that he could be eloquent when he needed to be, but he knew more than anyone else that his words could and did cause harm to the people he cares about. This was a side of himself that Reigen hated, but being completely transparent with his feelings and being genuine through words is something that doesn’t come naturally to him.
Reigen does his best not to hide behind his words as much as he’s gotten used to doing– but he finds that it’s easier for him to show someone that he cares for them by showing up and supporting them from behind.
Before Reigen and Serizawa officially got together, they had spent several nights having conversations over drinks and ramen. After one too many lemon sours one night, their topic of discussion eventually devolved into Reigen briefly opening up to Serizawa about how he hated the side of himself that found it difficult to be honest and how he hurt Mob in the past.
Ever since Serizawa started working at Spirits & Such, he had observed that Reigen wasn’t always the most truthful. He could also only recall at least one other time where Reigen unexpectedly confided in him, so hearing him do it again really caught Serizawa off guard.
Just as Reigen was about to move on after taking another swig of his drink, Serizawa piped up.
“Reigen, I know it’s not always easy for you, but I can see that you’re doing your best to change.”
He paused and stared at his drink before continuing.
“Even if it doesn’t always work out, I know that you have the best intentions in mind, especially for the people you care about. I’m sure that Shigeo-kun can see that as well.”
Serizawa finally breaks away from staring at his drink to finally turn to Reigen– who was now extremely teary-eyed and doing his absolute best to hold it all in.
Maybe it was the lemon sours, or Serizawa’s genuine words of reassurance, or maybe it was both that got Reigen choked up; but whichever one it was, Reigen learned that it actually felt really nice to hear that he was doing something right.

It had been about 5 months since Reigen and Serizawa started dating each other. Despite their hectic schedules, the pair made it a point to set aside time every weekend to spend at least a day or a couple of hours together uninterrupted.
During this particular weekend, the couple decided to try out a new co-op game that had been released the day before. Reigen wasn’t much of a gamer in comparison to his partner, but he knew how much trying this game out together meant for Serizawa, so he gladly agreed to it.
On the way home with the game in tow, Serizawa passed by a burger place that had recently just opened up. He figured it would be a perfect surprise for Reigen tonight, especially since he had mentioned wanting to try it out a few days prior.
Eventually 6 pm rolls around.
“Taka should be here any minute.” Serizawa mutters to himself.
As if right on cue, Reigen rings the buzzer to Serizawa’s unit.
After greeting each other with an embrace and a short but sweet kiss, Serizawa invites Reigen to sit down on the couch.
“Before we start anything, I figured you’d be hungry so I got you something.”
Serizawa pulls out the bag filled with the burger and fries from behind his kitchen countertop. In an instant Reigen beams, gasping loudly and practically bolting over to where Serizawa was standing.
“Tsuya! OH MY GOD YOU REMEMBERED.” Reigen wraps his arms around his boyfriend before thanking him verbally and with another kiss.
Once dinner had been consumed, they made their way back to the couch to start the game. A few minutes into playing, Reigen took the chance to snuggle into Serizawa’s side even more, resting his head in between Serizawa’s neck and shoulders.
In turn, Serizawa pauses the game and re-adjusts himself and Reigen. He wraps an arm around Reigen and pulls him in even closer, fully enjoying the warmth between them. Serizawa then plants a kiss on Reigen’s temple and smiles at his partner warmly.
“You make me feel so loved, thank you for everything.”
Reigen’s face immediately flushes and for a moment, he is at a loss for words. Serizawa has been the only one so far to make Reigen forget how to talk at times with his sincerity– not that Reigen’s complaining.
He regains composure and manages to respond.
“I feel the same way, thanks Tsuya.”
He smiles back at Serizawa, who’s internally melting at the sight of his boyfriend still getting flustered even after all this time.
“So how ‘bout that game? I wanna see what they’ve got in store for us. I was starting to get invested.”
Serizawa lets out a small chuckle. “Alright, alright I’ll unpause now.”

Baldur's Gate has over taken my life
So here's a long ass rant about Astarion because I love him so much my heart bursts with love and joy for this man (Everything will be spoilers under the cut so if you have not completed the game make sure you DO NOT read this LOL)
So...I'm not someone who usually rants like this on my blog but it's my blog and well free will is everything so let's go : )
What I really want to talk about is about how much the trauma and his abuse must have warped his mind...over 200 years of it, I can barley comprehend the past 23 for myself but 200 years
Like no wonder he treats everyone a certain way, no wonder his first reaction is to "go hurt someone", perhaps it maybe was in his nature beforehand(?) but we don't know and I don't think he really recalls either! (other than the fact that he was a magistrate all those years ago, which to me, is still kinda funny to think about hehe, but thats most likely because he wasn't the person we meet in BG3)
And thats the thing, once you help him over come the black mass and you enter the cutscene with him and he shares his old grave to you- I almost assumed that maybe it would have been old family members besides him...but no, just himself. Who was Astarion before his embrace? I suppose it doesn't matter anymore since after that moment he resigns that life and proclaims his past self long dead but...the mind does wander at times.
It does make me sad, how it seems as though he must pick and I suppose it's just me being jaded with the idea that one must sacrifice happiness to do the right thing- when idk the idea of having your cake and eating it too it something he deserves after again- 200 YEARS- of horrid abuse
This is NOT to say that I approve of him becoming evil lord 9000, but rather a catapult into the last option you get to say to him at the end of it all with his final cutscene where he asks you "What do you want?"
There is an option where you can suggest that the both of you continue to search for ways to let him walk into the sun together again and if you choose that well he does seem delighted and exclaims if there is a chance he will seize it no matter what (and that it will lead to more adventures together hehe).
My idea was that what if...it was actually a road to having him regain his humanity, you know? Bring him back to life as our dear evanessence would say- and I don't mean that he must sacrifice something to have this and he must suffer more blah blah blah I MEAN SERIOUSLY!
It was a sorta "final adventure", the gangs all here and somehow it becomes more than just that for our beloved vampire man (because of course it does), but at the end of the day, after possibly IDK saving the world for a second time perhaps LMAO- he gets to finally be rewarded :,))
He fought and fought hard, began the road to self acceptance and love, to slowly heal himself with the help of your BG3 character..to finally be rewarded to breathe air again.
To eat again, to feel the blood rush to his cheeks again- his heart pumping again. More than just walking into the sunlight without harm, but to be able to gain from it. To be alive again...
I could rant more and most likely will later but, I love him so much LOL him standing up to Cazador, his abuser, the way he did, I was shaking because the idea of being able to do such a thing to my own is just unthinkable...he deserves much love :, ( and is worthy of so much patience and understanding.
I am going to draw alot of him and Vyhann, who is my Bard BG3 half-elf, together and just in general if y'all aren't happy with that I understand LOL and anyways if you've read this far my god I would apologize but you've done this to yourself skdjfnskdjnfjdf

...is jeongdo planting memories in seongbin's head. hear me out.
ok first of all I literally almost threw up reading this episode. the music was a cool touch but the way jeongdo was pressing seongbin like "I need to humiliate him" "he's thinking he's better than us bc were being slandered by the media" (which btw way to make your personal feelings seep into the investigation asshole. the media is slandering y'all bc y'all are incompetent pigs. like. sometimes I thought I was going too far with jeongdo's obsession with seongbin but this confirms it for me. he's making it personal. he's making it about himself) "I need to come up with something doesn't matter if I'm wrong" "you were scared of being just like your mother" idk felt so icky to me. literally how dare you talk about his mother like that. how dare you bring up his abuse and purposefully trigger him.
"uuuhh but investigation tactics" if purposefully triggering trauma in people is investigation tactics then they're are abusive end of story lmao fuck off. there's ways to interrogate people without traumatizing them.
anyway.
we know seongbin said "I don't think I would do that". this highly indicates he doesn't remember killing anyone.
God fucking dammit I can't write properly I'm just so disappointed. I hate this lmao
anyway wtf was I saying. yeah he doesn't remember much and so the pressure of a policeman saying "we know what happened even though you don't" can fr just. make seongbin accept those "memories" as the truth. jeongdo may be literally gaslighting seongbin into believing that he did it.
like. idk how relatable this is. but yk that feeling when you don't know if something that seemed to have happened in your childhood actually happened or if it was a dream? also sometimes when I'm asked to recall something I don't remember, often I'll think "I can imagine/see myself doing this" but I'll still not know for certain. does that make sense? now imagine this feeling while being under severe mental distress
what I mean is seongbin is not in the right state of mind to be able to say for certain that he's remembering things. also jeongdo kept pressing and triggering him of course he'll not be stable enough to think properly. his mom just died too and the pigs that tased him are shit talking her.
I'm seriously so upset I might cry. bashi I'm gonna grab your foot when you're asleep.
I'm also so pissed at jeongdo fr IDC anymore. fucking pig I hope he chokes on mud
everyone in this webtoon is an unreliable narrator. so I can safely say that no, we can't be sure those "memories" are even real they could just be jeongdo's re-imagining of the murder
I hope maybe Dr. ju intervenes somehow. as the psychiatrist I hope she can do something. isn't this a thing like in trials? where you can object bc they're inducing the person to think/answer in a specific way? maybe she'll intervene bc his testimony won't be reliable idk whatever
I don't know what to say. this doesn't feel satisfying. the puzzle pieces seem to be falling into place but I keep thinking "this can't be it... it's too easy"
I can only hold on to the hope that I'm right on my meta analysis of the series as a whole and boy if I am right... oh boy...
but on the other hand I literally can't help but think that something's wrong. and idk maybe it's because I keep thinking there's No Way they'll go through this cliched overused and most of all offensive and ableist route. but what if they do? what then lol I'm seriously so sad
I can't even joke about how if there's a twist and it's not seongbin then I'll suck bashi so silly and sloppy like i feel defeated. they're torturing me they don't deserve my tornado blowjob... not now at least. even if bashi defeats the ableist allegations they won't defeat the psychological torturer ones 😔

That said, for the purposes of the universe that IAC takes place in, I specifically tend to focus on the Hermits and their friends (EVO, Legacy, Empires, 3L/LL, MCC, etc.), DSMP (with some big differences namely that I pick my fave bits from canon out and toss the rest into the garbage because fuck you /aff), and a couple little fandoms called Yogscast and Achievement Hunter (Martyn Littlewood and Geoff Ramsey my beloveds)
Hermits and friends is a no-brainer. They're the ones that this particular AU mostly focuses on. *points at Doc* And y'all can blame him! /lh

Yogscast the beloved. Our beloved King of the Saplings comes from there and once a Sapling, always a Sapling! Also I will always love HAT Films and Flux Buddies was such a joy to watch unfold as the story happened and yeah so many fond Minecraft memories with the Yogs even if a lot of them don't play it anymore!
And well maybe you current followers don't recall my Achievement Hunter days, but those were a fun number of years that I followed them. (I just did the math and I was into AH for roughly 7 or 8 years. Time flies when you're having fun huh?) Funnily enough, while Hermitcraft had just started out, I was off watching 5 or 6 grown ass men playing Minecraft and other videogames for a living. So close and yet so far lol. Of course in this universe [FORMER AH MEMBER REDACTED] doesn't exist (and for good reason) and I haven't admittedly watched the Friday Minecraft episodes in a good bit (do they still release on Fridays??) so I don't know much about the newer additions to the AH team. I can assure you though that in this AU they are all still the same hodge-podge group of misfits that I have always enjoyed watching. *points at Gavin* Also him. Blame him for why AH in particular had to be included. /lh

'He probably gets comments like that all the time "my mom loves you" 😂 Same thing happens with Keanu. Their "franchises" are "older" therefore they tend to attract "more seasoned" women. Nostalgia is a hell of a drug. There's nothing wrong with that at all. We all age but sometimes keep our younger crushes. Especially if they age like fine fine 😂 these guys have a younger fanbase as well but I liked that he gave a cheeky nod to his older fanbase.' saw that on another blog have a good day.

I don't consider this drama. I have an opinion, other people agree or disagree. It may seem like drama to others, I don't know. I wish people would just comment on existing asks instead of sending new ones that basically say the same as the others have before. I didn't like the sketch and thought it was in bad taste. I don't recall saying I hate him. If someone in a comment said it, please talk to them.
my two cents here with the skit of DD is that as the anon said he probably was reading it from the cue cards couldn't do shit about it, yes he could have said no but they were recording the entire thing and how we'd know what went down there truly? we're just audiences to the whole thing. yes the skit/sketch is bizarre and weird bc he never have been close to both actors that he mentioned there. it is the show's skit/idea not his people.
It was scripted. He probably just read out loud what was given to him. I have no idea how much input artists give, but the whole interview was also so scripted - as it always is, with everyone - that there must be some kind of conversation and understanding what can be discussed and what not. Cause otherwise why does no one ever ask him about his love life?

doing a skit on Jimmy Kimmel disparaging men who are in relationships with age appropriate women when you're doing the complete opposite of that and trying to hide it is not a good look by any stretch of the imagination. but watch his older female fans trying to defend it, even though they were targeted too
Most of what I saw were either people finding it funny or not liking it at all. There seems to be no middle ground. Then again I haven't seen that much. I was surprised how few people were actually talking about it. Not just the sketch, the fact that DD was on Kimmel at all. Maybe it's because of who I follow.
I have to disagree with you when you say we all do weird things. David isn’t just doing weird things he is pry of a societal problem that makes it okay to objectify young female bodies. And many give him and others a pass because they are charming Or because of prior things they did. Not holding men responsible for their toxic behavior is the problem and even worse is that women are among those apologists. And I like your blog and I know that you don’t like to be controversial but at one point someone has to have a clear standpoint without giving passes to the patriarchy system that only see value in a woman’s appearance and youth instead of her education and achievements 
I meant that more in general terms. I think I've been pretty clear and outspoken that I don't care about his relationship with MP - or any large age-gap relationship in general. I am constantly begging for stories about middle-aged people.
I just got around to watching that interview because of the Drama on your blog and WHAT THE HECK WAS THAT?!! who ever thought that was a good idea?? he just made fun of really talented people and he embarrassed not only his fanbase but also himself. I wonder how he looks his daughter in the eyes after a shitshow like this (pardon the language but im really disappointed) :((
Cursing is allowed on my blog, anon :) I really wonder who wrote the sketch and why they thought it was a good idea. For DD or anyone. Humor is a touchy subject and there's no agreed-upon definition on what is and isn't funny. I'd think West doesn't care much about it. She knows her dad better than any of us here.

Ahh I am sorry for sending long asks to you! I couldn't help it, i kinda got a bit too excited (this is skzanon! I got a lil tag for myself djshs)
But true!! It always starts of with "oh I just bop to the music is all" before then you are looking up tumblr content stuff or watching YouTube videos and the next you know, you have group 3245 added to you lost of biases haha. As for skz, its been a month(?) Almost and oh my what a Rollercoaster for me it was. Thunderous 6 wins!? Like get it my beans, super proud of them for this! I believe this is their best wins from what I read, the album as a whole is a bop. Hands down cheese is my most played song, idk why. I am living for the song production and the lyrics are super creative (also not me thinking svt hip hop unit would own this song if they covered it i-) so many birthdays like OMG like I couldn't keep up! It was skz and plus other of my favs the entire week, like I love you but why so many of you being born!? XD it is seungmin's bday as I am sending you this ask so I hope he gets all the good things in life. As for a bias...dreamy, help lol. I thought it would be chan because lbr he dragged my sorry butt into skz in the first place BUT then I was like "oh felix, sunshine boy who bakes" but then I noticed han like omg han I wanna protect, please (sidenote he gives me slight jhope vibes? The way he raps is a similar style like his? Maybe that's just me) but suddenly, in the corner flippen minho rolls in but NO wait, look at the jeongin and his precious smile djsjdjsjs so basically uhhh ot8 bias i guess? XD I legit cannot decide a bias. I want to say chan is "main" while everyone else just decides to throw me off curve? This was the first time I struggled with a bias omg skz and their power y'all.
Back on topic, but yesss! Svt and mx love child lolol. Skz having their own sound that only you can relate to them (mx) while creative performances that make you go ^0^ (svt) but also these boys sometimes act like someone gave them fruitloops with redbull for breakfast (both groups lmao). No but seriously, they do remind me of svt alot and I get all soft about it. Like minho ??? I am convinced that boy would be good friends with jeonghan, apparently he is friends with seungkwan (?) Or at least I recall seeing a clip of him and jungwoo talking about how the 98 liners know each other on twitter. Both have this wonderful friendship, like they don't sugar coat it if that makes sense? Yet it is one with much respect and love. Basically just stan both groups for a better life really.

fruitloops with redbull is the perfect eay of describing the insane energy they can both have! and i defintely think the svt mx thing is SO accurate lmao they truly feel like the brian child of both groups in countless ways.
Minho has mentioned he's friends with a few 98 liners so i wouldnt be surprised, I know on kingdom ateez seonghwa asked him to invite him next time 98line did something together <3
and yeah i think its really kind of wonderful that svt and skz's friendships dont feel fake, they tease and laugh together but also when they talk about each other theres a lot of respect and admiration for each member, its so heartwarming. it makes you just want to love them even more 🥲
