remember when homecoming made it a POINT to show adrian toomes in prison fully aware of peter's identity, QUESTIONED about it by mac gargan and lying by saying that he doesn't. showing that despite their fight ( which was nothing to gloss over either considering he did not hold back and was willing to pull a gun on peter in the car ), he was still willing to protect the identity of this 15 year old kid. and then it went nowhere and is now fully irrelevant. because people forgot but i DIDN'T—
