the shift between Guy being afraid OF Tew, and Guy being afraid FOR Tew is so subtley and beautifully done here, mad props to Ping especially for this scene.

he touches Tew so gently and he's so worried for him and about him, instantly.

taking his shirt off was a wild way to go about being honest with Guy but Tew clearly made the right choice because it both calmed Guy down and brought him around to being willing and able to listen to Tew tell his story much faster than any other kind of reassurances probably could have.
