I love your mir Garlude so much. I love how the manner of Garlude's death made her think about her own worthyness vs. DMK and that something needed to change around here, especially now that she was effectively out of lives. It's such an interesting scenario that she's punishing Dark for something his alternate self was involved in. She can't let her fate be the same as Garlude's, and she needs Dark out of the way to make sure of that. It's just so cool cool cool

Oh hey our first time seeing mir arthur's natural eye color! It looks nice, actually surprised to see the majority is unaltered. Is there any significance to the red/yellow/blue of his eyes/magic? I noticed the little gem on garlude's neck also shines those exact colors...

Red/yellow/blue are the colors his magic tends to manifest as! (For example, Mir Dragato's is pink, and DMK's is usually silver.)

Anything he enchants takes on elements of that color scheme, a sign that his magic is present. He doesn't do it very often, making those gemstones hard to come by (and their properties relatively unknown to outsiders).

If Dameta’s mask breaks and he replaces it, would it still have the scratch in it, even if it was a new mask? Did Dameta have something go wrong in the same vein as Mir Falspar?

He can typically get the pieces of his mask melded back together, but if it's unsalvageable in some case, he'd definitely add the scratch back himself. He claims it's part of his notoriety, but mostly, he thinks he looks cooler with it (and just a little bit less like his counterpart).

The scar over his eye from the original incident, years ago, is permanent though, and came about a different way.

Reflections usually can't scar from injuries, that aspect of physical appearance is bound to their counterpart. But, with a weapon made from the right material...

It's not impossible.

So since the gems are tied to Mir Arthur/made from his magic, does he know where Mir Garlude is? Mir Nonsurat can't see her through the mirrors, but can Mir Arthur sense her location? And if so, does Mir Garlude know about this?

Good question! It's actually fairly difficult for Mir Arthur to sense the locations of the gemstones, as they give off the same signature as his normal illusions (and he has those employed all over the place). He could narrow it down better if he was actively communicating with the gem holder at that exact moment, but his communication range spans roughly the radius of the Mirror GSA's home base (the range moves with him), and Mir Garlude slipped beyond it as soon as she left.

Mir Garlude possesses the benefit of having had Mir Arthur's trust in the past, so she can hazard a guess to the ins and outs of how he could track her, and has taken precautions to prevent this. That includes avoiding obvious places Mir Arthur might check, relying on the gemstone's camouflage at all times, and if she's certain enough that someone from the Mir GSA is onto her, setting traps.

She might've gotten further, if no one had intervened.

Mir Falspar, despite his hostility towards most, has very strict principles that he holds himself to, as well as others. Those include enforcing the safety promised to the mirror GSA's recruits against outsiders, whether or not that includes facing ex-members, or defending those he normally dislikes.

(it's important to note this event took place before Mir Falspar's shattering, an incident that has since reframed parts of his thinking)

Spinning these Mirror Guys in my head Right Now How does one know if their counterpart dies? Is it just a Feeling or sense, or something else?

It's a disorienting experience, though it doesn't cause them any physical harm.

Reflections will get sudden flashes of what's happened, witnessing the last moments of their counterpart almost as if they're dreaming it, hearing their thoughts, seeing through their eyes in just a few final seconds when the tie between them snaps, and finally dies out.

Some ultimately find it freeing afterwards, knowing they're not tethered to a counterpart any longer. Others take issue with losing the ability to respawn, or feel sorrowful over the loss of someone who was inexplicably connected to their own existence.

And of course, there are those who take it as a sign that something needs to change.
