Joint Entrance Examination (IIT JEE) is an engineering entrance examination conducted for admission for Engineering & Architecture courses into IITs, NITs or other prestigious colleges in India. It constitutes 2 different examinations – JEE Main and JEE Advanced.

The JEE Main will be conducted twice before admissions in the next academic session. Over 921,000 are expected to appear for the IIT JEE examination in 2020. Performance in Class 12: Minimum 75% marks in 10+2 or equivalent.

No age limit specified for JEE Main.

Students are provided only 3 attempts to qualify the JEE Main examination

NOTE - Candidates who have passed Class 12th in 2017 or before as well as those who will appear in such examination in 2021 or later are not eligible to appear in JEE (Main)–2020.

The National Testing Agency (NTA) will release the JEE Main admit card 2021 in the first week of January.
