The oc ship takes the cake here obviously. You just don't understand these two were BUILT for each other, they're SOULMATES😭😤💯 Very chill, very mutually adoring of each other, very autistic, very obnoxious couple to be around by blader standards (though those standards are very low in a romance-less show). Metal Mayhem romance is coming I swear to god, y'all are gonna find it DISGUSTING.

Tsubasa x Kyoya

I don't think I'd thought of this one too much until I watched Fusion, and BOY you can see why! Trying to gain a mutual understanding of each other, Tsubasa proving to Kyoya that he truly does believe in the blader's spirit, Kyoya seeing Tsubasa lay dead on the ground after his battle thinking "I SEE you now". They're the two "no-nonsense serious grumpy frowny face" people of the group, but together they're smirking gayly and sniping at each other like a pair of homosexuals. They tease each other all the time and they are ALWAYS holding onto each other. The clingy Kyoya agenda is alive.

Tsubasa x Ryuga

Now, I don't necessarily ship these two in a typical relationship light like I do with most other ships (except for in my sims 4 world lmao), but I do think that the concept of these two being into each other provides a lot of interesting ideas. The fact that, despite claiming to not care about anything other than his eternal enemy Gingka, Ryuga still flies his ass all the way to Italy to give Tsubasa a little fucked up therapy session at the behest of a mountain goat is very interesting to me. It provides some angsty "why me?" scenarios, because really, why Tsubasa? Doji could've made anyone else fight Ryuga in Battle Bladers, anyone else who fought him could've (and should've) obtained the dark power, and Ryuga could've not bothered with him and gone straight to Gingka in Italy. All in all, the fact that they keep meeting in these frustrating, confusing scenarios, with building tension and annoyance at each other's existence is something I'd love to exploit.

Tsubasa x Jack

Jack is canonically infatuated with Tsubasa and Tsubasa is so very confused as to why. I think they'd make a great odd couple (as well as being the prettiest damn couple you ever did see) with a stone-faced, serious Tsoobs and the kooky fucked up one with a concerning amount of body paint. They share ideals in the importance of elegance and perfected technique, though Jack wants to see it more in other people for inspiration, whereas Tsubasa only needs to see it in himself. Ironically, I think Jack would inspire Tsubasa to be less refined and instead just go with the flow of what he's feeling.

Tsubasa x Benkei

SUMMERSHIPPING OR BURGERSUMMERSHIPPING SOMEONE HELP ME WITH THIS. In Shogun Steel they are the embarrassingly in love dads, and in the Metal series they are the embarrassingly in love teens. Benkei bakes him heart cookies while Tsubasa leaves wreaths of flowers at his door. Benkei loves loudly but bashfully, while Tsubasa loves quietly yet confidently. And they both feel inferior as people due to the events of Fury! :D A whole lot of potential there.

As a bonus, here's a list of people I think would have crushes/romantic tension with Tsubasa without actually shipping them: Gingka, Madoka, Hyoma, Tobio, Teru, Daxiang, Zhouxing, Julian, Sophie, Zeo (he has some issues he needs to work out), Johannes :D

I’ll start with our resident Filipino legend Acec since he’s in the same timeline as my gang. Xe’s a very OuO guy, so I think at first Ash and Kylie would be a bit put off, maybe try but struggle to hold conversations with him. They may eventually they warm up to him when they realise xe is just A Guy and not a changling of some kind. But fellow autism Madina knows there’s no need for flowing conversations when you have funny little pictures to share. They’d hit it off best with their simultaneous lack of seriousness and genuine sincerity. They snoop around team Dungeon collecting The Goss. They sit quietly and watch mcyt videos for hours on end, eyes dead and legs bouncing. Madina would pick him up and swing him around like Mario swinging Gay Bowser. Also they both like beautiful men. Maybe they can double date and re-introduce Tsubasa and Bao to each other, since they definitely do not remember each other at all. God bless amercia o7

Trucker Dave is the person who’s most likely to know Vita and the crew since he's Coach Steel’s husband. Idk if Steel’s still the main coach in the Zero Era but ain’t no way he’s out of there completely, so Dave still passes through from time to time. And if he notices a kid having a rough time, he'll try to offer a bit of Queer Trucker Wisdom. With Vita being the leader of her team and also queer, it's likely Dave could notice her going through some Stuff and give some good ol' advice, maybe let her pet his dog while she vents a bit. They both seem to have very calming and trusting presences so I think they'd get on quite well.

Now, ASHANTI. Ash would LOVE Vita. In her time, she was the only female team leader in the championships, so seeing an up-and-coming female team leader would be absolutely delightful. At that point she's also a beyblading coach, so maybe she could reach out and give some advice? Offer some training or even a mentorship if she can stand being in the US for that long? They're both sort of "older sister" figures, so she could also help Vita navigate the feelings that come with that (also them combined with Aria and Kylie?? Slay).

The Birrung girls would see Ashton Angsto and think "man aren't we glad we had no dudes on our team" or maybe "wow the kids these days have problems. we had problems once." But they don't see him as a threat to anyone as much as just a dickhead who'll hopefully learn about the magic of friendship, as all other minor dickheads in the championships tend to do. So long as he stays in his lane and doesn't join any evil corporations, they won't sick any wild hounds on him (although if Ash is also Vita's mentor... then that might change. Go full Madina mode if you know what I mean (I really don't care that you're a baby, I'll snap your neck like a twig)).

God he's so silly I wanna hit him with my 2002 Toyota Tacoma-

So Birrung... other than severely judging his taste in men, they'd like him! He's a nice change of pace from the rest of the WBBA adults they've met, in that he. actually cares about the children and values human life. Someone that gives Madina hope that her boyfriend won't die on the job! Though this mindset might lead her to blame him specifically any time Tsubasa does get hurt- because if the most reasonable person here can't stop that from happening, then why are you here in the first place? (The WBBA is literally the Tsubasa Corporation to her she doesn't gaf about anything else they do)

Kazuo's thoughts on them would likely depend on how much stress they cause: Kylie's a sensible kid in terms of not getting into life-threatening situations, so no grey hairs gained with her. Ashanti may be a bit too responsible for Kazuo's liking; he might try to convince her to relax and not take on so much responsibility (also she is the most polite and appreciative of his work :]). And Madina. Well. I think the first time I drew Kaz was him hauling her drunk ass home so. Y'know. And luckily for him, she's the one he sees the most since she's dating a fellow employee, so STRESS ABOUND! :D

As for my other most important oc... idk if Coach Steel and Ryo are really aware of each other, or if they'd be friends if they were, but maybe Kazuo knows who Steel is and wants to try to get Ryo to hang out with him, just to expand his social circle a bit outside of just the kids. And when he learns Steel has a husband, it opens up all sorts of opportunities for socialising with them in a way that lets Kaz subtly monitor Ryo to make sure he doesn't say or do anything idiotic: couples activities!

They could host dinner, and Trucker Dave would bring a subpar casserole while his husband brings excellent Italian cuisine! They could have a games night and play scrabble and charades like real normal human adults! They could go to a drag brunch because they're all GAAAYYY! Dave would think Kaz is a sweet fella, nice and easy to talk to and seems to not mind his rambling. Maybe he'd try to give him some wisened advice despite Kaz likely being older than him lol.

Madina- Likes Demure, though really wishes he had more of a spine when it came to his friends (or whatever you call Kyoya). She thinks he'd be nice to just chill out and talk to, though they haven't gotten much of a chance to do so.

HER AND NILE!!! BESTIESSSS <3 Not really BUT they do hang out a lot in some of my aus (mainly the sad ones😔 rip). Let's just say Nile needs a realist to talk to and some unhealthy coping mechanisms, and Madina's got both a plenty. Their relationship may not be the healthiest because of it given that Madina's enabling some pretty bad stuff in him, but whaddya gonna do🤷‍♀️ Madina also loves that parallel play (autistic style) and Nile loves hanging out with people who aren't loudmouths, so they can just chill quietly in the same vicinity for ages and have a good time.

Kylie- Really likes Demure, though he's a bit too timid for her. She likes to just scream bloody murder balls to the wall sometimes, and Demure already hangs out with enough Free Headache Generators so he'd really have to be in a good mood to hang out with Kylie.

She doesn't know much about Nile other than "he's gay and sad" (don't ask me if Nile's happy in any au I have bc I don't have an answer for you) but she thinks he looks cool.

Ashanti- Kind of shocking that the majority of Wild Fang aren't actually assholes and it's literally just Kyoya. like how did that happen. Anyway, I think Demure and her would be good chums. They're both a lot more reasonable and responsible than the rest of their teams, and I like to think they've both got a bit of that Older Sibling Syndrome :) They have a lot of mutual respect and admiration, and would have fun just hanging out together.

She's not as close with Nile as she is with Demure, but she has the same amount of respect for him in Beyblading terms. He seems incredibly strong and brave, but they just don't have enough in common outside of Beyblade for her to make a deeper connection.

So I just saw that you have the oc ask and well I couldn't help but to wonder how this would go since my only oc's are fankids. And well, since Hoshi has gone back to the workshop since I made her a clone, I would like to throw little Tae into your hands to see what happens.

Fankids are where all our separate continuities get real fucked up😎 luckily for Tae, I have no Yuki or Motti fankids, so he slots right in!

Obviously Madina will never be done bullying his father for his nerdish ways, but Tae gets a pass since he seems to have inherited his mother’s zest for life (and is also. y’know. a child, and Madina’s an adult now). Maybe she could take him for a spin on her motorbike if it doesn’t give his dad a panic attack. She's the designated babysitting parent for most of the gang's kids, so if Yuki dares to join in on that trend, Tae's getting a lot of lessons on Street Smarts and the Real life advice.

Madi and Tsubasa have three children of their own. Idk when Tae was born so idk who he'd be closest in age to, but I think he'd be most likely to get along best with the youngest, Yuna. She’s very quiet but loves playing make believe and is also incredibly intelligent. Her best friend is Ashanti and Benkei’s more loud and hands-on daughter, Nana, so Tae could hang out with the both of them. They love to explore and do “experiments” while they play, so I’m sure he’d fit right in, given that he seems to be a smart and adventurous kid.

If he's closer to the middle child Kyoko's age, then this is very close to a Madina and Yuki 2.0 dynamic. She's teasing his ass every way to Sunday, but also this is HER nerd to make fun of, so don't come for him >:( Really, she won't be that bad, since she's a bey mechanic so she's also got that Nerd Brain. But we love a bit of ironic hypocrisy in this house.

And if he's closer to the oldest, Koa, that'd be fun! Koa is a very kind and personable boy, so he tends to get along well with most people (if they don't fuck with his family). He's a classic cool dude with a passionate blader's spirit and all, and as far as I can tell Tae is also choc full of the BS, so they can be good blading pals/rivals. Typical blader friendship.

Essi seems like a People Person, so I can see her getting along swimmingly with the gals (except maybe Kylie... they've got beef...) BUT ANYWAY yeah she's a classic girlypop blader, I can see her going out with the ladies, getting some (virgin) mimosas, watching the Barbie movie, uniting against some ruffians causing trouble in the street, etc. And then a SLEEPOVER :D where everyone reveals their deep-seated insecurities and gets a MAKEOVER :D She'd likely get on best with Madina, since she likes to just chill and have a little goof. Maybe make fun of her if that early crush on Gingka thing is still canon.

Axyl is a very o_o. We've dealt with o_o before so first and foremost we're deploying Madina to make funny faces and send funny memes. Her humour relies quite heavily on sarcasm and the internet culture of six months ago, so whether or not Axyl likes her is up to the fates ig. They could watch some funny little autistic shows together maybe; Madina's the kind of guy to just let people infodump and half keep up with what they're saying. Kylie could invite him to pet her dogs to try and make a connection... Does Axyl like dogs... if so then they may be bestowed a little paper tiara. Maybe they can even come and see her wide collection of little trinkets and doodads. Ashanti may just pick him up by the scruff of their neck like a kitten and place them down in front of Zhouxing.

Kosuke... I'm not gonna lie I think they'd all get fuckin pissed off at them. The Beyblade world is not lacking in its snarky smirking fellas, and my girls have just about had it up to here with the lot of them. Madina may resort to violence as she tends to do with a lot of the Beyblade cast. Ashanti's better at ignoring people in general, and Kylie's not gonna throw the first punch but she will screech at unholy frequencies.

You have a hot girl trio. I have a hot girl trio. Whaddya say we uhhhh *I am hit by a 2002 Toyota Tacoma*

There’s obviously some strong similarities between each of these girlies, so I’m gonna go through the matches:

Ashanti and Li Hua- Absolute slam dunk of a pair oh my god. Oldest Sister Syndrome, hefty responsibility of leading their teams, being seen as too strict when they’re just trying to protect those they care about, and the HEIGHT. I think, if either was willing to really step outside of their comfort zones and face what it’s like to really be known by someone, they’d make a darn swell pair. They could do each other's hair and makeup and cry together when it's all too much :D AND THE FASHION!!! They would absolutely slay together the world would not handle it. Maybe since Li Hua's a bit older than Ash, she could give her a bit of life advice about managing stress and just general Pained Adult Woman stuff.

Madina and Fifionne- The problem children. They like to cause problems on purpose because ..? They have issues? Who's to say. Granted, their problems stem from different places, with Fifi's coming from the crushing pressure of dedicating your life to a god, and Madi's coming from being the middle child. Either way, they can go around town committing crimes and antagonising people together. So long as Fifi doesn't go too hard antagonising the wrong people (i.e. anyone Madina cares about) they'll get along just swimmingly. But if she does... let's just say these two have the capability to either become really great friends or the absolute worst of enemies. Insulting people is only fun if you both don't like that person, so it could go horribly wrong real quick. It all depends on who their other friends are.

Kylie and Felicity- Doggirl and catgirl solidarity. The others have a lot of problems, but! We do not care <3 These two are just living their happy little lives to the fullest because drama is for losers and cuteness is forever. Not sure how close they would get, since Felicity is an adult and Kylie is an annoying fifteen year old. They could be like,,, tumblr moots. Send silly little memes to each other. Exchange dog and cat pics.

Maybe it's more likely that Madina and Felicity would get along as morally dubious chill dudes who live regular-ass lives outside of Beyblade, and Fifionne and Kylie would get along and annoying spiteful ladies who need animals following them around every second of the day. Who knows.

And Megalodon… god, no one knows what to think of that Beast (average teenage girl). Never really occurs to anyone that the bad guys have like... extended families (or any families, really). So seeing someone introduce themselves as Pluto's cousin is gonna cross a few wires. So long as she doesn't try any funny business they're not gonna bother her much.

Shoyo is very sopping wet feral kitten at the beginning of their story, but Birrung meets the rest of the crew after Fury. So when they're most likely to meet, she's sort of a well-rounded person? She has a goat boy maybe-baby, a positive outlook, and a purpose in life, y'know?

But you know what else they are? Probably autistic. *ENTER MADINA* who, while not super good at making the genuine connections she wants, does know neurodivergence when she sees it and tries to empathise and act accordingly. So, while Shoyo's likely quiet and unsure in their first meeting, Madina sort of tries to convey her autistic vibes as well?? Try to subtly hint that I Know What You Are And So Am I. After that, I think they could get along fairly well, but are by no means besties. They don't have matching whimsey levels, I feel. Also not sure if Shoyo would love the whole crime, drugs, and bullying thing Madi's got going on🤷‍♀️ They might like the romance levels and the zest for life she has though!! And if Madina can keep trying to make Shoyo laugh, then who really cares about morals? :D

Kylie isn't necessarily pushy when it comes to getting to know people, but she's far more outgoing than Madina is, so she and Shoyo will either become fast friends or... not. I'd lean towards the former since their whimsey levels are far more matched. I think Shoyo could appreciate some good classic childish fun, like a tea party or running through a field of flowers. BUT if Shoyo's thinking of bringing any of their morally compromised dudebros along with them it is JOVER. Kylie has zero tolerance for morally compromised men (ignore her crushes pls btw she doesn't have ANY double standards).

Surprisingly I think they'd get along with Ashanti the most. They match in open sincerity and strong belief in Friendship and The Blader's Spirit. Though I think Shoyo's definitely more hopeful when it comes to the good these things can truly bring out, whereas Ash is less likely to give people the time of day if they're continuously fucking things up. It'd be like that Steven Universe meme, with Ashanti putting her hand on Shoyo's shoulder saying "I think we have to kill this guy, Shoyo" and Shoyo going "damn :(". Overall I think they both have a certain protagonist air that would make them gel quite nicely, like Gingka and the gang. They could go on adventures and learn valuable lessons about the world and themselves along the way. Maybe talk about the triumphs and tribulations of having siblings.

I've been reading The Literature and here are my findings:

From first impressions, I think they'd like them! She’s kind, generous, and just generally cool. I think she’d gel with Ashanti the best, since they both have a strong desire to help people and want to be supported as much as they support others. Maybe they could hang out in nature together, chill, talk about life and love and family and all that.

Kylie’s pretty chill with everyone (EXCEPT for men with morally dubious pasts, that must be very clear). If Tyra likes dogs they can meet Kylie’s babies (all bulldog variations who wear little outfits). She’d also likely try to get Tyra to make a million little ice sculptures for her just cuz she’s like that.

Tyra may take issue with Madina, since she likes getting under Kyoya’s skin (and to be fair,, he makes it way too fucking easy lmao). Problem starts when Madina will NOT apologise for what she says, because in her mind, Kyoya absolutely deserves what’s coming to him and needs to be taken down a peg or five. And if she’s not apologising or backing down from any physical fight… hopefully Ashanti can intervene and talk everyone down before someone gets all iced up.

Random OC lore that I've been storing on my private twt

💚Hiram and Helena are siblings, while Lillian has been Helena's friend since Rich Person Preschool. Helena thinks her current "goth phase" is hilarious and mostly ignores all the depressing shit she says. Lillian, in turn, thinks Helena's "tiktok villain era" is just her acting like a clown for random people on the internet, and that she will regret it eventually. Why are they friends again?

🩷Kylie has three dogs: a quiet and stoic black staffy named Millie, a brown and white aussie bulldog named Butters who waddles around being happy all the time, and a pied french bulldog named Beanie who's a lapdog. Millie and Butters were shelter dogs. They all like wearing jamas and all sleep in Kylie's bed with her.

🧡Ashanti’s full name is Ashanti Ama Savage. She has three siblings: Manu Kobi (m14) who plays soccer, A’ishah Afua (f12) who loves to design things, and Odom Yaw (m9) who bites people. Their second names correlate with the day they were born, which is very common in Ghana.

❤Madina tends to make Ashanti's life fuckin STRESSFUL. Ash knows that everyone views her as the big sister of the group, and having four younger siblings already, she knows that a lot of the responsibility of their behaviour falls on her in the eyes of adults. So Madina being so reckless and choosing violence at every turn frustrates Ash to no end, because she knows people will look down on her as a leader and a "big sister" figure.

On the other end, Madina doesn't want to be "mothered" by her and feels like Ash cares more about their team image than her actual health. Ash has worked very hard to build a professional image for herself, but she doesn't actually want that pressure to fall on her teammates, given how detrimental it's been on her childhood. She just wants them to be safe.

💛Trucker Dave met Coach Kelso Steel at 30 while doing a delivery in the city. Dave officially made his home base New York, and they were together for three years before getting married. Their honeymoon was in Australia, where they spent their time fishing and admiring natural landmarks. Once the two of them have less on their plate, they hope to eventually adopt a little one. Dave also wants to buy a boat one day, so he can take his husband out on the open sea and fish the day away.

Madoka vaguely knows about team Birrung before they meet because they're the only all-girls team in the championships, and Madoka has a habit of looking up and learning everything she can about the limited female bladers in this space👉👈 So she already has the impression that team Birrung is Awesome and Cool and oh my god they're coming to introduce themselves Gingka ACT COOL.

She and the rest of the gang meet Ashanti and Kylie at the pre-championships team party, but Madina is noticeably absent from this- oh. Because Tsubasa is busy flirting with her. Nice job, mate. So after the party, Tsubasa is kind of the only source of information Madoka has on Madina since they keep in contact, which is annoying because Tsubasa is notoriously shit at sharing information about anything.

But they finally meet properly a couple of times, and wow Madina is so nice and chill! She's the chillest person Madoka's ever met and she's so pretty😳 and wow she calls Madoka pretty😳 who does that? No one does that😳 Madoka likes how, despite how she may seem, Madina is very logical and forward-thinking, but she also likes how she simply does not care about meaningless shit and blows off insults incredibly easily. Madina, meanwhile, likes how intelligent and straightforward Madoka is, and while she also likes how caring and supportive she is to her friends, she sees how taken advantage of and underappreciated she is in her circle. Her and the other girls encourage Madoka to not mother the boys and to push boundaries with them.

So unfortunately for Madoka, she's bisexual and very easily develops crushes, and Madina is neither of those things. She thinks Madoka is really cool, but she loves the birdman😔 Fortunately, this does not negatively effect their relationship too much. After it's all out in the open and the air is cleared, Madoka is able to move on and continue on as Madina's friend.

They like doing the typical Girl Time things together, like shopping (brought to you by Tsubasa's credit card), getting manicures and pedicures (brought to you by Tsubasa's credit card), watching cheesy romances while swallowing gallons of ice cream, and most of all: TALKING SHIT. They talk shit about boys, bladers, and all kinds of fucking losers💅💅💅 They r the BESTIESSSS they share clothes and have sleepovers and drink strawberry milkshakes😌
