This is drawn in the context of an Odile Looping AU where Odile has decided she needs to save some time between loops. The first few times, Odile asks Siffrin to borrow his dagger for a moment, bc her weapon won't do. They're a bit bemused, but hey why not? Until a few loops of this and Odile's expression has changed. She's forceful and scary and not really asking anymore. So I like to imagine Siffrin gets worried and refuses, and Odile has an awful sense of realization creep up her gut when she recalls how Loop begged her not to go through with it. She resigns, but maybe too little too late.
