the 'ahhhhhhhhhhh' club updates.
a friend suggested i take the 'ahhhhhhhhhhh' club down after yesterdays anon spike. however. no. it's not a favorites club. it's not a friendship meter. it is genuinely just the writers who have made me scream or want to scream in excitement while writing or plotting. so. the list is being updated today because we got some new contenders, some classics who were on the original list but not the original post and because i love the people who like writing with me.
in no order because i'm not a sociopath:

"i can't believe i'm letting you see me without a full face of makeup. you're pretty fucking special, red," she murmured as she looked through her bag. "i'm too tired to put any on right now and i don't have to go anywhere yet, so i'm staying like this for a little while," she said and bit into her lower lip. / @ofbookshelves

@ofbookshelves oliver & red it's your golden hour.
somehow after however long they had been in the same group of friends, red and oliver never really seemed to get along. he struggled to try and find some kind of common ground with her, but she always pushed him away. always called him out, told him off, and found any reason to walk away from whatever conversation he was trying to initiate. the worst part if it was the meaner she was to him, or the more indifferent she seemed to be, the more he wanted her attention. the more he paid attention to her. the more he was convinced there was some sort of magic in her that lured him in, like a siren who could punish simply by rejecting him. it was maddening, and yet, when she showed up at the party, he sought her out as soon as word made it to him, finding her on the deck watching a game of beer pong. "oh, if it isn't my favorite girl, red." he hummed, hands stuffed into his pockets as he strolled up to her.

@ofbookshelves ; vibe from C*ck Part 2: (Better Than the First)
"When did we stop laughing? Feel sorry for us now." Sitting on the back steps of her shop, Florence sighed. "Paying rent, calling home again. Routine and tedium now..."
