WIP Wednesday (12/20) | Arsonist Neil / Firefighter Andrew AU (Part 79)

“Why’d you keep the card?” Aaron asks.

“Thought I would use it as a bookmark,” Andrew lies. Then he snatches the card out of his brother’s hand and tosses it on the counter.

“Liar,” Aaron accuses. “You’re just as sentimental as Nicky.”

Andrew glares. “How dare you.” 

“Just stating a fact.” Aaron gives it the basket one more look and shakes his head. “I can’t believe somebody’s grandma has a crush on you.”

“Shut up. What did you bring?” Andrew asks, to change the subject. Upon inspecting the to-go bag, he finds food from his favorite Chinese restaurant. “You hate Chinese.”

“No, I don’t. I just hate the slop we had at one place... You know the one with the broken front door, what's it called?" Aaron makes a face like he's having a stroke, clearly trying to pull something out of his mental library.

"Sun Palace." Andrew recalls immediately.

"Yeah. I hate the puke that place calls Chinese.” Aaron says with a grimace. "This is the good stuff."
