in no particular order:

om shanti om — if you haven’t heard of this movie, i can only presume you live in an oil-seasoned fried potato or you were conceived two weeks ago.

tenet — dawg even the title is one of the best details. ten minutes forward - ten minutes back

the princess and the frog — the nostalgia (early teens – present day)

x-men: first class — we will fight them on the beaches (derogatory), goddamn i love these peaches (affectionate).

white chicks — witty, well–executed, hits every single note you could want, and would cause rotten eggs (280 character riots) to be thrown in the streets (twitter) if made and released in today’s society. truly s–tier.

little miss sunshine — there isn’t a better well–rounded soft–core movie out there. it has everything: road trip, death, toxic mentalities, dancing, body image, homosexuality, suicide, ice cream.

the deadpools — fourth wall breaks, a very bent main main character person, and decisions i don’t yell at the screen for (kill the raging adult, save the raging kid – sympathy is for the weak, children could make you good money one day).

captain america: the winter soldier — the movie that makes me believe in a better marvel. flesh on flesh fight scenes, soundtrack (i'll admit it's not httyd level score but it's very fitting), relationship developments (CHILDHOOD LOVERS TO WHATEVER TF THIS IS HELLOOO), and excellente pace. and there is P L O T.

star trek aos (2009) — 🚨🌈 if you want one of the greatest enemies to lovers sci fi futuristic stories, say no more. they’re literally the only two people mentioned in every summary of the film because they’re joint–protagonists of lurvvv. they truly did stay true to the og and using a BLACKHOLE to still plant their plot apart from said og?? you gotta respect that. (i get very Unwell over this if it wasn’t clear.)

3 idiots — “maybe cinema can't save lives. but cinema, sure as hell, can make you feel life is worth living.”
