Aba means “father” in Hebrew. Every since I left my home in Argentina I have felt my father really close to me. 
He is present in my readings, in my writings, in my reflections, in my fears and longings. There is a phrase my father used to tell me often and only now I am starting to understand:
“Never forget your roots” These words have triggered in the last years for me. My life has turned into a detective story in search of my roots. It is a geographical, genealogical, historical and spiritual, neverending quest, but a meaningful one, worth living it. Aba, this piece, dedicated to my father Miguel, is son of Dora and Richard (from Reconciliation album). They share the same mood, tone, scales and tempo, it is almost a continuation of them, just as I am a continuation of my own father. The father energy is the energy of Jojmá. The force of Creation and giving,endless and pure without boundaries nor limits. The mother energy is the energy of Biná. The force or Reception, the womb needed for creation to happen. There is no one without the other. A father can´t be a father without a mother. A mother can´t be a mother without a father. We all have those two energies inside of us, in constant relationship, struggle and coopulation.
