Which ship do you like better, Sunflower or Sunshadow? (personally I love both but the lack of content for sunshadow is killing me rn)

While I do draw a lot for Sunnflower in general, it won't have the same effect of yearning for my lover to return home from the war like Sunshadow does :3

I do always want to draw for the ship but I always feel awkward about it--some people tend to scare me off with their small comments in regards to Stranger which makes me feel like I did something wrong........ which I know isn't their intention, but I always feel guilty for trying to be self-indulgent......... perhaps it is just a fear cultivated from growing up though.....

Nevertheless, I always do get happy when I see Sunshadow content made by others!! it makes me more happier than seeing Sunnflower content, but I think I might just be a little delulu over it BAHA

Anyways..... have some Sunshadow content I made specifically for this ask...... just to add some more Sunshadow content to the small pile...........

I think Sunshadow (sunny x stranger) is such a funny concept to me ESPECIALLY from Basil's perspective.

Like what do you mean my best friend who I've covered up a murder for and may or may not be in love with, loves a shadow man version of me that represents all of the things he doesn't like about me??????

Sunshadow is just Sunflower but more delusional and more shadow entities

I've been seeing a lot of people sharing their omori aus... so here's an unnamed Sunshadow fic idea I'm currently working on!

Stranger's sick of Sunny rotting in his house, so he legit manifests himself into the real world. Omori notices and follows Stranger into the real world to stop him from revealing the truth to Sunny. Cue Stranger (now known as Rowan) and Omori bickering over everything while Sunny tries to stop them from killing each other. Stranger introduces himself as a family friend keeping Sunny company and introduces Omori as Sunny's cousin. Both of them changed their appearances so they don't stick out.

I was planning to have this follow the good ending route, just with Sunny basically having 2 bodyguards trailing him everywhere he goes. I was also planning to have some Sunflower in the mix, but I'll see as the story progresses!

Lmao, I know this is very self-indulgent, but the lack of Sunshadow content is hurting me....

Anyway, hopefully I didn't bother you with my rambling and hopefully I'll be able to finish the first chapter soon... :>

Sunshadow content is sparse and I've genuinely been thinking of going out of my way to make more art and fics for it but the idea of doing it alone really made me scared to actually act on it......so any Sunshadow related content, I will welcome with open arms no matter what type it is..!!! (I have become deranged enough to fully accept this, do not look at me)

The concept reminds me of two thought processes I've had before... Which I think is amusing cause in a way it's like sharing braincells with someone unknowingly HEHAHDNRHFNS but I really like this since it's scarily similar to what I've written down!!! I've also been trying to think of making a Sunshadow fic, so knowing someone else is doing it too is really encouraging!!!!

If you ever post up the first updates of it or something......maybe even needing a helping hand a little..........hehehahehe..... >:3 (cue me rubbing my hands evilly)

I've posted the first chapter of the Sunshadow fic! Click here for the fic! The 2nd chapter is already in progress, and hopefully will be finished soon! I'll try to post often, maybe I'll go for at least 1 post per month? This isn't really a super long fanfic so I'll try to keep the number of chapters to a minimum. The title is just a placeholder for now, so if you (or anyone lol) has a better idea, feel free to share it with me!

Okay. Here's my idea (which is one of many) for this weird lil au:

Sunny is the classic witch in the woods thing (ran away from his town and now is a story that ppl use to scare children. He's like... pretty old but wow magic!!! Makes him look young!!!)

And stranger is just some.... monster (I need to make a background for him....)

Okay, anyway, Stranger gets hurt (possibly by monster hunters), and escapes into the forest where Sunny lives. Sunny finds him and heals him, and stranger basically decides that he lives there now. Cue shenanigans that I totally know. Oh and Sunny turns a cat into Omori.

I'd definitely say Basil, Aubrey, and Hero, with the only side characters being Maverick and Daphne for sunnflower/sunshadow, baseball, picnic basket, sunbleached, Shortbread, and Bread Basket (⁠◕⁠ᴗ⁠◕⁠✿⁠)
