to; m/f/nb (m/nb for ship) plot; Key has been absent for a little while recovering from a small operation, but invites your muse over for a ‘game night’ to make up for it.

It had been weeks since his operation, and Key was finally ready to face some kind of humanity. Beyond a slow walk to the store nearby with his dad, he hadn’t dared ventured any further. It had been a “small” procedure, but still one on his heart and so careful was the best policy. What he hadn’t intended to do was ignore his friend, and in an attempt to make amends, he’d invited them over for a ‘game’ night. However, when the night rolled around and as Key’s eyes fixed on the video games the other held in their hands, it became pretty obvious that they both had entirely different ideas of what game night actually was.

Clutching a board game between his own hands - Operation, because why not be ironic - he couldn’t help but laugh. He looked up at his friend through his glasses, a sheepish smile breaking out on his lips, “Okay, so I think there might’ve been a miscommunication...”
