anyway here’s another long post for sar’s timeline during season 4 , part one ; aka that time sar decided to bring in a different doctor to deal with connor & abby
events of episode one
at the announcement of connor temple & abby maitland’s return ,  surayra locked herself in her office.  it was only fifteen minutes, but in that time she broke her favorite mug , & shredded a few papers. it’s an emotional fifteen minutes, but she’s composed herself by the end of it, & sitting with the few staff members that want to talk about it.
she has to sit down with lester, help him to process the idea that friends once presumed dead are actually in fact alive , & have brought chaos with them , per the old norm.  by the time connor & abby do return , she’s returned to her professional smile. greets them both with a hug ,  welcome back , & immediately proceeds to her office.  connor notes that she’s still the same shrink as a year ago.  it’s overheard , it isn’t appreciated.
the rest of the day is spent weeping in her office.  she’s missed them , she’s grieved over them ,  & had to put it down on official reports that she’s thought they died. it hurts her deeply.  she & dog stay overnight in the office for the first time in months.
events of episode two
it’s taken some persuasion, but matt takes over the work of interviewing connor & abby , & seeing if they are fine after a year in the cretaceous. sar doesn’t share that she can’t stand the sight of them.  on her way to her office , jess corners her & asks her opinion on whether or not she should help them in any way.  it’s the first time she’s seen sar go from a normal smile to her professional smile.  during this brief meeting , kore beckett , a psychiatrist who works with Prospero is assigned to work abby’s case.
as it’s kore’s first day downstairs , sar takes it upon herself to give her a proper tour of the arc , & brief her on what she’ll be dealing with.  kore takes it like a champ , does agree that they’re all a bit mad to be working in the basement, & returns to her office upstairs.
sar , of course, catches the tail end of connor & lester’s argument.   things almost feel familiar again,  she almost smiles.  jess of course invites her to have a girl’s night , plus connor  in honor of having new room mates.   she politely declines , stating she has mountains of paperwork.  unfortunately with kore taking abby, sar is now responsible for connor.  just as she settles with a cup of coffee & the old files ,   captain becker lets her know about duncan.  it’s an excuse to get her out of the office , & back into her fieldwork.  three hours after initially meeting the man , sar heads home, with another reason to be angry with connor.   it’s also more of a reason for her to go back into the field with the team.   the following morning she’s in lester’s office pushing for this again.  it’s agreed upon in thirty minutes , & without approval from phillip that she’s allowed to not only go into the field ( only to speak with civilians after a creature incursion ) , but that she’s also allowed to have an earpiece when the team goes out
events of episode three
this is the first time the team goes out that sar gets to actually hear .   so upon hearing the argument between connor , abby , & becker over whether or not to open the anomaly, she’s already gone for her bag & has one of becker’s men drive her over to the theater.  en route , they learn of the woman that matt’s went through to find , & instead make their way over to the hospital.
it takes surayra approximately five minutes & dog sitting on her feet for her to actually make her way inside the hospital ( it reminds her too much of sarah’s death ).  she immediately goes to sit with the woman , preparing to offer comfort when she wakes up. instead the woman attempts to escape , & despite her best efforts to keep her calm , she instead chooses to keep dog calm , & allows the woman escape.  it’s the safest option , & one the soldier that gets a proper whack agrees to.
they’re about to join the team at the theater when they realize communication is down. unsure of what it means , they arrive at the theater ; sar chooses to stay in the car & begins sketching the woman from before.  shortly after , they all head towards where matt is , & sar again decides the safest option is in the car.   it’s been maybe an hour, but she’s started a file for the unnamed woman.    after the creature is killed , she’s given a ride back to the arc.
upon her return , connor barely gives her a chance to breathe , he needs an emergency session after nearly killing the boss on his first day.   dog sits at her feet the entire time , keeping her calm enough to keep up her professional demeanor  ;  she’s still hurt.   however upon abby’s return , she bursts in to tell her all about lady emily merchant  , putting a name to the sketched face.
after connor & abby leave , she spends the next few hours officially making new files which don’t classify them as missing , presumed dead.  it helps her to finally look at them without grimacing. it’s also an excuse to wait for matt to return to the arc so they can have a sit down,   he never does. instead she takes the time to find becker , & they have a sit down of their own. it’s a chance for them to discuss abby & connor’s return without it going on any official record.
it’s therapeutic for the both.

3 ex-LWUA execs guilty of graft over P1.5-M grant to chess group
#PHnews: 3 ex-LWUA execs guilty of graft over P1.5-M grant to chess group
MANILA – The Sandiganbayan has convicted three former officials of the Local Water Utilities Administration (LWUA) of graft charges involving a PHP1.5-million sponsorship grant to a local chess club 10 years ago.
In a 31-page decision released on Friday, Associate Justice Maryann E. Corpus-Manalac sentenced former LWUA chairperson and incumbent Surigao del Sur 1st District Rep. Prospero Pichay Jr., Emmanuel Malicdem, and Wilfredo Feleo to up to eight years in jail for violation of the Anti-Graft and Corrupt Practices Act.
"Each is hereby sentenced to suffer imprisonment for six years and one month as minimum to eight years as maximum, and perpetual disqualification to hold public office," the court said.
Pichay, who was simultaneously National Chess Federation of the Philippines (NCFP) president at the time, had been charged for his actions when he was acting LWUA Board of Trustees chairman and when Malicdem and Feleo were LWUA acting administrator and acting deputy administrator, respectively.
A fourth accused, former administrator Daniel Landingin, died in May 2016, prompting the court to dismiss the case as far as he is concerned.
In the same ruling, Pichay was also found guilty beyond reasonable doubt of violation of Section 7 (a) of Republic Act 6713 or the Code of Conduct and Ethical Standards for Public Officials and Employees and was sentenced to pay a fine of PHP5,000.
He was also ordered to reimburse to the LWUA the amount of PHP1.5 million, representing the amount of the unlawfully released sponsorship grant, plus interest.
The amount had been used for financial sponsorship of the chess tournament, the 2nd Chairman Prospero Pichay Jr. Cup International Chess Championship, which was named after him and held in his honor.
Pichay has asserted that he "did not violate the conflict of interest rule, saying although the request for sponsorship was made at the time of (his) incumbency as NCFP president, it did not require his approval and on the other hand, the action taken on the request by LWUA, specifically its approval, did not likewise require the approval of his office as chairman of the board."
"A judicious examination of the records reveals that the individual acts of the accused taken closely together dovetail a concerted action towards the attainment of a common devious purpose. The records show that accused Pichay was the proponent in the LWUA of the sponsorship of chess tournaments," the court said.
It added that the accused acted in utter disregard of a 2010 LWUA memorandum suspending all sports and cultural activities and Administrative Order 103, s. 2004, which directed the continued adoption of austerity measures in government, such as suspension of grants or donations.
Associate Justices Rafael R. Lagos and Maria Theresa V. Mendoza-Arcega concurred in the decision. (PNA)
