Towards back when they first formed their team, they got caught up in a mission way over their heads and came out the other end having helped out a Lugia who was grateful enough to offer them their assistance if they ever need it. They’ll come flying in if Zephyr plays a certain song on his Ocarina.

Zephyr refuses to call them for help in fights, believing that’s a cheap move until he’s stronger than they are, so they usually help them travel long distances or across oceans and air lift them out if theyre ever cornered
