Meatbun loves her age gaps doesn’t she? 😂Ranwan were like 15 years apart pre CWN’s death and XQC and HY are 13 years apart.

Hmm, am insane and am going to check - OK at the time they confess, CWN is 32 and I thiiink Mo Ran is 23?

I do wonder when CWN says his age whether he doesn’t count five years in the coma. I think he counts but I don’t know.

Honestly, the ages thing in 2ha is bound to drive one insane because CWN is whatever bio age he is but for five years he was in supernatural coma during which did his body age? We don’t know. But also he has some of Chu Fei’s souls and Chu Fei was a different age when he died and transferred his souls into much younger CWN (and part of it got transferred earlier than other parts) so do we average out the souls’ age and how?

Plus unless the monk carved CWN as a minute old infant, he didn’t start from 0 years old so how do we take that into account age wise?

And we aren’t even getting into Mo Ran who’s 23 but has part of TXJ soul that came over when TXJ killed himself at 32 and then the rest of TXJ soul when they all merged when TXJ was 40 but if he was undead from 32-40 does that count for purposes of age?

Age is just a number. Destined to drive me insane :)

hi, I love your notes about Erha. I've read a lot of danmeis already. But.. this novel just hit me off directly at my heart. I'm re-reading it for the nth time already, and absolutely it's chef kiss! I adore Ranwan a lot, though could you tell me ShuangMeiMeng's real score? Is it really only platonic? I'm still in denial even now. Meng adopted a child but not marry. Is it bec. of narcissim (extras) or trauma of losing ZY and MW? And your thoughts about why the Mei's not blonde in the drama?ty :(

1. Was MHX blond in the novel? I honestly don’t remember since all I remember if he/they are flirty and good-looking. I do think it’s probably good to keep wild hair colors out of live actions unlike animated version because it looks too wild. Or maybe I am just old school.

2. I am afraid I have zero interest in MHX x Xue Meng as a ship so I don’t have any deep opinions on it. I am not opposed to it or anything, I am just not interested in it. I can see why people read the potential there but to me Xue Meng always read as asexual/aromantic tbh. He really comes across to me as someone who has NO interest in romance or even sex whatsoever, not even basic curiosity. He may take after his bio dad this way since JX also reads that way to me. I don’t think the trauma helped any but plenty of people have relationships or at least sex despite trauma (hell, Ranwan are the definition of trauma and look at them!) so I don’t think that’s it. There are plenty of narcissists (though he really isn’t one - sure he has a high opinion of himself but a classic narcissist is incapable of caring for others and Xue Meng cares desperately) who have sexual relationships at least so once again, to me Xue Meng just reads as aro/ace. But mmv and all that. And you never know, he just may be a late bloomer and a decade after the story realize he fancies MHX (or whoever) after all.
