hey i saw your recent post about lupus meds while tag scrolling and i just wanted to recommend that if you’re taking methotrexate, you can take folic acid supplements on the days you don’t take the mtx (not the same day, it will cancel out the meds) to reduce side effects. my first rheum didn’t tell me that, but my current one recommended it. best of luck!

thanks for the info- I'll keep it in mind. methotrexate is a last resort for me. autoimmune disease runs in the family & other people have had extremely adverse reactions to it. self-administered weekly injections it is (most likely) weak woohoo 🙃 I hope you're healthy & doing OK!
