The thing is that an anonymous icon painter depicted Saint George, the Archangel Michael, the Prophet Elijah, and Saint Tryphon, all in one icon, which was not usual for the iconography of the period. Each figure bears a considerable historical and religious significance, though the connection between the four is open to interpretation.
