heyHow r u? Came to Tumblr after a long time and wanted to check on my fellow mjht girlie.

You know I have been watching the episodes, and as I have always been more of a Gunjan fan than Nupur so I always took Gunjan's side in the fight after mayanak Nupur marriage. But this time I felt Nupur was really judgemental and interfering when it came to Gunjan and Samarat's relationship for that time,but Gunjan also was kinda harsh on Nupur. I know she didn't say anything to her directly but Nupur did overhear her telling Samrat that what Mayank Nupur did was hurtful to their father.

But honestly,what did she expect. Their father left those two no other choice. Would she rather her sister sacrifice her happiness and be stuck in a loveless marriage just to uphold their father's 'reputation '?Gunjan always seemed a very mature person so this struck out as odd to me.

Also I felt a big part of Nupur's anger was driven by jealousy more than just concern for her sister. Here she was struggling in a sudden marriage and her father unfairly isolating her, and Gunjan is having such romantic time with her boyfriend. ..I don't think it was villainous or anything. It was a very human emotion and situation I feel.

Which was also heightened up by the fact that the sisters were living apart for the first time and missing each other terribly

Hey. Hope you doing fine. You know one thing that always bothered me about mjht is that when Gunjan left samrat after Nupur's death,when they reunited,there was no proper apology from her side. She regretted a lot,tried her best to bring some good changes in his life, but never really straight up apologised to him about it. He kept blaming himself for something that was an accident and not intentional,his life became hell he became an alcoholic biker wasting away his life. But she never really apologised,she told Nupur that she felt after what she did,she doesn't really deserve him. But should have told all this to him no?

I feel comparatively Mayank and Samarat's reunion was handled better. Mayank hated Samrat because he reminded him of the tragedy ,but he knew somewhere this anger is illogical as he himself encouraged Samrat to drive recklessly that day. He forgave Samart much before he even found out Nupur is alive,and was actually worried for his depressed state. Their arc was more well written.

YES EXACTLY!

It is my only teeny tiny bit that hurt in MJHT that Gunjan has no redemption arc and she needed it because she became the judge, jury and punished Samrat beyond his crime.

Especially even after she learns the truth.

I got so upset when Gunjan was upset that Samrat hid his ambition from her and continued lying to her - her audacity to say that 'maybe he doesn't know how to speak the truth' - LIKE EXCUSE ME?

And you know it's not Gunjan's anger, it's the fact that Samrat then is pacifying her.

My man is in trauma. LEGIT TRAUMA. Gunjan is no longer the best friend in Samrat's life, she has no right in his life. (In fact if Gunjan was upset with Mayank as well, that he urged Samrat to drive faster, and essentially Gunjan is upset with everyone around her then it would've made sense).

Mayank's arc was beautiful. He, the minute he saw Samrat, apart from the initial anger was constantly worried about Samrat. Samrat's depression, Samrat's alcoholism, it all frightened him. He couldn't stop worrying about Samrat.

So, you know what I did? I re-edited the whole second season of MJHT so as to we get our fully fleshed arcs and boy it is beautiful. I'll make another post about this!

New Delhi: ICMEI- International Chamber of Media and Entertainment Industry join hands with a very successful and renowned Indian Classical Annual Program Swara Samarat Festival now to be held at Shri Ram Centre for Performing Arts, Mandi House New Delhi on 23rd and 24th July at 5.00PM.

“Though music transcends language, culture and time, and though notes are the same, Indian music is unique because it is evolved, sophisticated and melodies are defined. It is essential to promote Indian Classical music to retain it as part of our culture,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah President ICMEI and President AAFT School of Performing Arts.

“Music is the universal language of mankind. Where words fail, music speaks,” added Pandit Tejendra Narayan Majumdar inviting every one to the forth coming festival on 23and 24th of July.

This festival is the brainchild of Sarod maestro Pandit Tejendra Narayan Majumdar his vocalist wife, Manasi Majumder and their Sarod player-son Indrayuddh Majumder.

Swara Samrat festival started as a two-day festival of Indian Classical music & dance on 5 & 6 January 2013, featuring some of the greatest living icons of Indian classical music & dance before the large audience each day at Nazryl Manch Kolkata.

The festival was initially planned as a festival to celebrate the 90th Birth Year of Swara Samrat Ustad Ali Akbar Khan (1922-2009). Bharat Ratna Pandit Ravi Shankar was informed about the event and had expressed his joy and support. But just a month before this festival, the Sitar icon breathed his last (11 December 2012). After his demise, Shree Ranjani Foundation Trust decided to dedicate this festival to the Sitar legend too. The Majumdars called this festival a dedication to “The Immortal Duo – Swara Samrat Ali Akbar Khan and Bharat Ratna Ravi Shankar
