a pet peeve of mine is when ppl refer to braids/twist as dreads 🤢

#especially since me and my family prefer to call them locs #but like even if you have limited knowledge abt black hair you can tell the difference between regular braids and locs it’s not that hard #saw someone say paolo has had hella haircuts since he got drafted but he hasn’t lol #same haircut different styles … twist singles cornrows or in it’s natural state #dg took his locs out the two strand twist and someone said he had a new haircut 💀 like what ? #I guess it boils down to different terminology but like bffr #even a non black person should know haircut≠style #two different things
