Hello boys/girls/non bis of all ages.. Rain

I just had a rather interesting experince, but really it shouldn’t have been. And to whoever is bored enough to read this, it probably wont seem that interesting to you either. I had just gotten home around 130 in the morning from a friends house that I was hanging out with. It was windy when I got out of my car. I’ve always found the sound of wind, and the effect it has on trees to be rather relaxing. So I leaned against my car on this cold winter night to just experince the wind. It was a great experince. But then it started to rain. A bit hard too. It was really nice. I had really honestly forgotten how it felt. Standing outside in the rain. Not caring about getting wet, or cold. Not caring about my glasses getting wet. It’s been a long time since I got to do that. Probably highschool. We just got done with a drout in recent years so it hadn’t really rained much in a while. And now I have a job where I have to drive, and deal with people who can’t drive well in the rain. Rainy weather has been a drag when I work. Honestly it feels stressful when it rains due to work. But tonight I got to experince it. This thing that I’ve missed for over 10 years now. It was honestly really special, and it reminded me about all the different ways to experince rainy weather. Tonight was dark and windy. The sound of the wind rushtling through the trees was pleasant. I closed my eyes to listen as I leaned against my car. I took a deep breath, filling my lungs with the crisp cold air of the night and opened my eyes. The palm trees shook and bent with the wind. Then I felt a large raindrop nail me right in the eye, then more on my skin. I thought about going inside but the wind felt so relaxing. I zipped up my jacket and put my hood on. I coudl feel the rain sink into the cloth of my hoodie. I felt at peace as I listend to the sound hit the street, and the rooftops of the houses behind me. I took another deep breath through my nose, smelling the freshly wet soil from the lawn near by. Gazing down the damp street I saw the reflection of the street light, looking up to the lights themselves. It felt serene. There was a quiteness outside of the rain and wind. It felt lonely but in a good way. In a way I didn’t think I could feel anymore. A single car turned onto the street, it’s light too reflecting off the ground. Speeding down the street it left as quickly as it came by. I thought for a moment about how different this feeling would be in daylight. Still peaceful and serine just that, what you might see and feel would be a little different. No street lights but you could see the rain fall easier. More cars would be driving by. Maybe even some people walking their pets dispite the weather. Just a thought. But as much as I felt at peace. As good as it felt to be standing in the cold dark windy rain, the cold was starting to get to me. My jacket becomeing more and more soaked with the rain. Too long out here and I might catch something more serious then a cold. I took one last deep breath, locked my car and went inside, still feeling the lingering feeling of serentiy and relaxation.
