Sex Trade. NOT “Sex work”.

The woman who coined the term ‘‘sex work’’ is an anti-communist, bourgeoise, white, liberal & privileged woman who opposed her parents’ socialist beliefs. She described sex trade as ‘empowering’, ‘thrilling’ and ‘exciting’. “But is sex trade not a job like any other?!” While I do believe in supporting its workers, the abuse, rape, robbery, trafficking & murder in the sex industry cannot be compared to any other job.

Sex Workers Appreciation Post

I love you guys so fucking much and if I see any edgy discord tradwife commenting on this I’m gonna lose it.

A popular statement within feminists is “Support SWs but not the industry” however they fail to actually illustrate this when discussing it. When we discuss the abolition of sex trade we forget about the women that literally rely on that industry to survive in this capitalist world. Sex workers are nearly never even brought up unless they are being violently treated with hostility and getting demonized. I am all for the abolition of the industry but you cannot discuss that and disregard the outcome for those actually involved with it. Sex workers are victims of abuse and exploitation, and some of you “radfems” seem to be forgetting about that. We, as feminists & sex trade industry abolitionists, should understand this the most. We should talk about the decriminalization instead.
