See Me Clearly- Beginning
"What makes you believe that you would be a good fit here at Teller-Morrow?" The royal blue-haired woman sat across the desk from an older woman named Gemma Teller, the wife of the owner and the secretary for the shop. She knew of their "other" jobs, the Sons of Anarchy, but it did not bother her.
"I have extensive background work and knowledge of automobiles and trucks, with a good-standing portfolio of detail work on motorcycles. All of which I see outside and in the garage here. I can easily adapt to many situations and am easy to talk to, dispite the very protective german shepherd sitting at my feet. I can work whatever hours needed and live only two miles away, should there be any issues that would require my help. Mrs. Morrow, my inability to see fully out of both eyes, does not have any hidrance on my work or their relationships I am able to form with who I work for or with, or the customers that filter through the lot and this very office. My Charlie stays out of the way, damn near at my feet all day, and is quiet and clean and well-mannered. I very much like wor-" She was cut off by Gemma, who couldn't help but start to laugh.
"Relax darling, you're hired. Take a breath. Come with me, I'll show you around and introduce you to the boys." Gemma stood which, in turn, had the woman standing with her and Charlie also rising to his feet and stretching.    "Please, call me Ryan." Ryan smiled and adjusted her glasses, getting a better grip on Charlie's leash as they slowly made their way out into the main part of the garage where a majority of the guys were congregated working on bikes or talking to each other.    "Boys! Come here for a minute! I want you guys to meet our new hire." Everyone looked up at once to see who Gemma was talking about and grins lit up everyones faces. They all made their way over to the two women, eager to meet the stranger.    "Guys, this is Ryan, our new mechanic and bartender. Ryan, this is Jax, Chibs, Clay, Tig, Piney, Bobby, Happy, Opie, and Kozik. The others, Juice and Half-Sack are probably out on a run." Ryan smiled as each of the guys shook her hand, mindful of Charlie as he growled low to whoever came too close.    "Hey, darlin'. You'll put your box next to mine over here and I'll show you around tomorrow mornin'. Sound good?" Jax was smiling wide, his hand running through his thick blonde hair before pulling a cigarette out of his pocket and slipping it between his lips.    "Sounds good." Ryan smiled in his general direction, fingers nudging her glasses further up her nose so her version wouldn't be as blurry. Each of the boys came up then, talking lightly and flirting with her to try and test the waters. She was polite to them all but her hand never left her hold on the leash and the portfolio tucked under her arm.    "Mind if I ask about the dog, doll?" The curly-haired man asked as the room started to clear when two men pulled in and back their Harleys' up in their respective spots.    "Service dog, Mr.Trager. He helps with my being blind." the boys erupted into laughter as the man's cheeks turned a dark red in embarrasment.    "Call me Tig." He mumbled before stalking off towards the car he had been working on.    "I think you hurt his feelings." Bobby laughed, still standing beside her as they both surveyed the lot.    "Better me than Charlie." Ryan laughed lightly, stroking the dog's head fondly.    "You are not wrong." He patted her shoulder before heading towards the office, leaving just her and Gemma once again.    "Here comes Juice and Half-Sack." Gemma pointed in the direction of the two blurry shapes coming their way.    "Why is he called Half-Sack?" Ryan looked up at Gemma in confusion as the two men stopped in front of them, curious just like the others were.    "I'll let him tell you." She was laughing as she got hugs from both boys.    "Juice, Sack, this is Ryan. She's the new mechanic and our bartender." Juice lit up at the news that this beautiful woman would be working here and was first of the two to hold out his hand for her to shake. All Ryan saw, however, was a black void in her direction. It stayed there awkwardly for a few seconds before dropping back to his side.    "Ryan?" He asked confused, not real sure why she didnt shake his hand back.    "Yes?" She looked up at him then and he had to do a double-take. He hadn't realized she couldn't see him, the greyed expanse of her left eye and dark right eye giving away her blindness without him having to ask.    "You can't see me, can you?" she smiled wide and shook her head.    "No, I can't. Not fully, at least." He sighed in relief and rocked on the balls of his feet and Half-Sack introduced himself as well.    "Alright, Ryan, I'll help you back to your car and I'll see you tomorrow morning at 8, okay?" Ryan nodded in affirmation as she said goodbye to the two men and headed outside with Gemma who was leading her to her truck. "Sounds good. Also, um, could I ask a favor?" she was nervous all of a sudden, not sure if she is allowed to be asking.    "What do you need, honey?" She slid her sunglasses over her eyes and looked at the woman.    "Could you possibly have someone come help me put my toolbox into my truck tonight or tomorrow morning? It would be so much help. I'll even pay them." she really needed the help but she wouldn't push for the help. "I'll send Juice in a few hours to come help, it's no problem." she was smiling as she opened the truck door and helped Ryan inside, Charlie climbing in right after and laying his head on her lap.     "Thank you so much." Gemma played it off and closed the door, making sure she got out of the lot okay before heading towards the men who all had a million questions.
