My favourite thing about shuggy (or just Shanks and Buggy lore in general) is that we have crafted so many realities for them that i have to constantly remind myself that canonicaly they've only met once in present time 😭

Like what do you mean Buggy and Shanks weren't together constantly when Shanks was in Windmill Village? That Shanks wasn't rowing his ass off to go to Orange Town and bring Buggy back to his ship? That Buggy never met Luffy (or Uta) before Shanks had to leave?!

What do you mean they don't randomly meet up at islands along the Grandline and have giant parties with both crews? That they don't later sneak away towards some random room to get drunk off of sake and Buggy has to ask Shanks about his arm because the bounty posters didn't show it?

Or that they don't call on the den den when they're both far away just to hear the other speak, because they just feel so at home and comfortable with each other?!

THE FACT THAT THEY'VE NEVER VISITED RAYLEIGH TOGETHER?! ;(
