my biggest beef with story in gacha games is that it's continuously frustrating for me to try to follow a story in a gacha game for three reasons

break of gameplay flow (not that bad imo but contributes)

limited time events (which makes point 1. even more frustrating because you gotta farm the event but if you're a slow reader or have no free time... sucks)

because of the endless nature of the "game as a service" the story will never reach a proper conclusion. and i firmly believe a story can't just go on forever.

it has some pros though, but the cons make it hard for me to enjoy them

today i discovered that there's a few Costco stores in France (only 2 in the Parisian area afaik) and out of curiosity i checked the food stuff because i know of the costco hot dog + drink combo still being $1.50
