This is how I imagined the build up to be:

• When Yuri came to visit them last time, they somehow managed to convince him that they are in love with each other

• Yor is worried that Yuri still might be suspicious of their sham marriage and is going to demand physical proof of their love the next time he visits

• She remembers she tried to kiss Loid to prove it... Maybe this time, without being drunk, they can prove it with a kiss!

• so she decides to build up courage to be the one to initiate the kiss!! she just gotta uh practice so they could naturally do it like a couple. Others won’t question them then

• The man in question won’t know what’ll hit him. He’s too engaged in the newspaper he’s reading. He’s catching up with politics and current events... you know, they may be useful informations for spy stuff

• Yor slowly slides next to Loid. He see her at the corner of his view but just thinks “i guess she wants to sit down” and continues reading.

•She is too nervous to say anything, but she gotta do it! do the kiss!

• He spots her left hand at the bottom of his view under the newspaper reaching for his necktie

• Loid faces her, confused

• She suddenly pulls his face closer toward hers with his tie and places his handsome(mhm) face with her other hand. The process was awkward since she was nervous as HECK

• Before he was able to realize what was going on, Yor quickly leans in to kiss him and then quickly pulls out. The kiss was more like a smooch

• Nevertheless, it completely caught Loid off guard. His face became red and his heart wont stop pounding so hard that he could feel it on his chest everytime it beats.

• He’s like ‘Calm down heart! Stop feeling things!!’ He has done stuff more than kissing before but never felt feelings like this!

• Even Yor is dying inside of embarrassment. She had done it!!

• When they thought they were done calming down from the kiss, their gaze meet at the same time which they quickly look away.

• Yor: ‘Quickly say the reason why I did THAT!!!///‘ “W-we should practice k-kissing and be more like a married c-couple, so... others won’t be... suspicious...”

• Loid: “.....(still embarrassed)” “You’re right.” Of course, it was for the sake of mission!

• Even though, they agreed to kiss some times to get used to it, they don’t know if they can do it without being embarrassed everytime and catch feelings//

Wow um, I didn’t think I’d write long. Anyways, enjoy my cheesy idea haha
