Sometimes explaining tmnt to someone who's not into it is kinda funny because, i told my friend "Yeah they're four ninja turtles living in the sewers." and she replied, "Sewers. Really. Are they turtles or rats." and i said, "Uh, their dad is a rat."

And she went silent. Then asked, "...like how Mr. Krab has a whale daughter?"

Then i realized four ninja half-human half-turtles living in a sewer with their dad is not as normal as it sounds in my head.
