2020 Creator Wrap: Favorite Works

Rules: It’s time to love yourselves! Choose your 5 (or so) favorite works you created in the past year (fics, art, edits, etc.) and link them below to reflect on the amazing things you brought into the world in 2020. Tag as many writers/artists/etc. as you want (fan or original) so we can spread the love and link each other to awesome works!

1. yellow monochrome a piece of your mind - kicking it off with one of the very first kdrama capspams i’ve made. i’m so fond of this one because yellow is such a warm and soft color and i rarely make monochrome capspams. i’m proud that this one between the caps are fluid and work well with one another. one of them i had to manipulate to make it yellow but i think it blended in well.

2. psycho but it’s okay ep 1 caps - ok i made a bunch of sets for this show but the first episode has a special place for me cinematography wise. all the shots were so unique and beautiful. this pilot was shot so well that putting this together was honestly a breeze. i always go back to this one and just sigh at how soft and dreamy the set looks even with the darker/colored scenes.

3. into the ring rainbow spam - THE RAINBOW CAPSPAM THAT KICKED OFF THE RAINBOW SPAMS. this episode was so colorful and loud and it inspired me to make this 2 part set. i never really made a set with this many caps so it was a little more work than the others finding scenes that would have certain colors i could pull (wasn’t too hard though) and putting them together to just scream how fun and wild the show was and hoping more episodes would be just as great as the first one (was definitely not disappointed!!!)

4. my fake saeguk kdrama - I HAVE THIS PINNED ON MY PAGE FOR A REASON FOLKS!!! we should all thank luni (@hwanginyeop) for this one bc this was birthed with the help of her beautiful mind. so thank u luni we love you <33333333333333 i’m just obsessed with their faces and would love if their faces were smushed together and in historical/period clothing and being angsty and powerful in a show. that’s all i want. fake dramas/movies/etc are always more difficult esp with finding scenes that mesh and convey the plotline well. so i’m extra proud and in love with this one because it was very much a labor of love finding each cap to fit.

5. rainbow do you like brahms gifset - the very very very rare times i make non-scene specific gifsets and rainbow spammy at that!!! this one is one of my favorites just because of how beautiful they came out and work together. gifsets for me are an extra labor of love because i have a 5 year old macbook trying to process PS with all these frames lol. my set is nowhere near as beautiful or smooth compared to other sets i admire but i’m very happy with how it turned out!

6. the guest dramaween - 2020 was just rainbow spams. here is the most recent rare rainbow gif spamsets that i made for ocn the guest. i just wanted to celebrate this amazing freaking show especially for halloween so this was it! honestly like all the others i can only say how happy i am with the coloring and how the scenes turned out. after downloading a few episodes just to make this one set i’m glad i made it :)
