Do you all realize how hard it is to find birds for these women, the research, the bird research that I have to put into this? The inside jokes I have to come up with?

I don't think the boys are that clever, but Soap does mention "the birds" at some point and all three of them are like "oh Jesus christ they can't all be- no they are, ok..." Here's some group shenanigans with my favorite American summer activity, drinking by bodies of water.

It is absolutely astonishing that none of these women have gotten themselves or each other killed with their group decision making skills. An hour together and Ghost has already: had to catch Goose to stop her from jumping over the fire, lost his knife to a shotgun competition, and been subject to what he can only describe as complete bullshit linguistics.

He shouldn't be surprised when Goose pushes her pants down and strips her shirt off to sprint down the dock, but he still smacks a hand over the closest set of eyes(sorry Gaz) and yells after her. She hardly hears him over the splash of water as she jumps into the lake.

"Fucking finally!" Tut chirps, tossing her dress to Gaz who seems equally as flustered, before running to jump in herself.

All eyes look to Moon as she tugs her shirt over her head. She pauses, and blinks at her audience.

"You're all going to hell for looking," she says with a grin, kicking off her shorts to follow the other two women.

"Are we supposed to go in after them?" Gaz asks, turning to look at Ghost. Ghost sighs, and takes a swig from the long neck he's been nursing. Soap's already tugged his shirt off, not waiting for an answer.

"May as well," he hums watching Goose attempt to push Moon under the water, "No sense letting the birds have all the fun."

Disco Elysium 2, but a prequel where you play as Kim’s old partner Eyes

He absolutely does die in the end, but the specifics and circumstances surrounding it could still be based on player choices. Skills and thought cabinet mechanics would have to be adjusted for like an actual sane, semi-competent character but could still be built out more or less the same (maybe its more like Kim’s notebook? Eyes’ “skills” could be more like bullet points he’s writing out vs the internal discussion harry has? “Skills” = case notes, “thought cabinet” = personal journal?)

More Kim background, more exploration of revachol and the rcm, more insights about the pale (?)

mourning the loss of my old presto card (transit fare card) that i lost recently.... it was one of the old green ones from 2015 and i had given it the nickname "Spinach" on my account and we'd been through so much together, from my 2nd year of university up until a few weeks ago when i tragically lost it. and now i just have a shiny new black presto card. sigh

JOEY !!!!!!! [BREAKS INTO INCOHERENT SOBBING]

OK OK SO. My sweet girl joey's essentially the only "normal" person in the cast of the au, bc shes never lived in the zones and has no idea of its existence until a bunch of neon coloured assholes and their gremlin child show up at the 7/11 where she works [orwell keeps his past on the dl for good reason]. This gives her a sort of naivety in that she considers the concept of life in the zones to be this cool badass thing but doesnt realize the ramifications of living in such a violent environment.

Also i wrote her to be as bubbly and as extroverted as they come partially bc i love characters that are like that and partially bc you never see butch characters who ARE excitable and sweet yk? Joey's a total sweetheart and more than a bit goofy and she really balances out the tone of the story i think. Bc of orwell basically consuming every kind of movie and book and genre of music he could find when he escaped from the zones to make sense of things and to "catch up" to the outside world, Joey's got an insane level of knowledge on pop culture and so like takes it upon herself to sort of "educate" the 'joys.

Ive already mentioned that shes mixed but i didnt elaborate on that SO! joey's half mexican american and half white as ive mentioned, but her mother [aka the white half i mean. Youve seen orwell] was a white south african. This is partially bc a.) I can and will insert a bit of my home country into a story whenever fucking possible and b.) This also gives joey a bit of a cultural mix too, if that makes sense. Shes not typically american bc of the difference in the general culture of the usa and of south africa so her household, even after her mother's passing, still retains that mix. She also cant speak afrikaans for shit either my girl has LOST the multilingual lottery [she can understand both spanish and afrikaans just fine tho]
