#is it bad that i kinda hate it. #it just marks the moment that petrification becomes a toy to inagaki rather than like. a traumatic event. #like whatever. i know the reframing is important to utilizing medusa as a healing mechanism rather than a weapon. #but it never truly becomes one it’s obsolete after a couple uses (to keep the characters at a manageable power level) #edit bc i came back an elaborated more: #idk. petrification just seems like a really huge thing to recover from mentally as an individual and as an entire species as the direct targ #*target of a phenomenon that would have insane ramifications. #like as a scientist and someone who met directly with the medusas on the moon the rest of the world will just have to trust senku kohaku and #stanley aren’t lying.
