Au/headcanon… technically as it is an au with my headcanons

So in Canon he was born May 19, 1992 and went missing in October 23, 2003 at 11 years old.

(Lewis born December 27, 1988 and Edith born February 14, 1999)

Also he is the King from Unfinished Swan. With what I am typing tho is going with realism so I imagine he ran away.

I mostly just want to talk about Milton and Monroe but I will bring up other things.

I try to stay in a timeline-ish thing with each post soo.

Milton ran away from home. Why? Well I think him exploring the entire house and having free reign to read what he wanted I think he just felt he needed to leave

Truefly idk why he would but I think he did.

Anyways he is an 11 year old who ran away. How he lived was he got as far away as he could and went into foster care or something.

So he grew up and got a job. Like a normal job until he had enough to make art and childrens books.

I think he met Monroe's mom when he was 32 and she was 34. They got married after 1 year of dating and after 1 year of marriage she left while pregnant and gave birth soon after.

They are too alike to have ever gotten along forever sadly.

I think Monroe is 9 or 10 so at that age Milton is 43 or 44.

(Edith's son Chiristopher would be 19-21 i believe)

Btw Milton is still "missing" so I think at somepoint (like now that he is in his 40s) he will go to the police to tell them he is Milton Finch.

I mean when he left he still had a brother and a sister.

Also it was very cruel to leave his siblings behind.

So now at 44 with a 9 year old son he meets his 20 year old nephew.

He then learns that his siblings died at 21/22 and 17/18. Also that is mom died

On the flipside Chistopher after thinking he was the last Finch alive, discovers his uncle Milton is alive! and has a son.

So while pissed off at Milton for leaving everyone behind he is happy to have met family. (Other that Chris's dad's family)

Back to Monroe.

Milton found out pretty quickly Monroe is his kid because his ex-wife left it in her will.

Monroe is also happy to have more family. He only knew his mom for the longest time.
