It was a very quiet night. Susan was crying in the basement and thinking about taking her life.
Suddenly, a notification from her phone kill the silence. It's from an unknown number. Susan wiped her tears with her long sleeve. She don't have any idea about the message from the unknown number. The person that messaged her is asking for a help. And then the unknown number sent a bunch of text of weird things and some voice "beware of the man behind you". He is talking about a man without a face that's stalking Susan.
Susan open step and run to her room because she felt something was off. Susan use all of the energy but her leg stop when she saw a faceless man in suit. She can't move legs or open her mouth for help. Out of the blue, the faceless man try to grab Susan's hand. Without hesitation, she run with all of her energy and fall.
Then, Susan open her eyes. She woke up in a hospital with a nurse beside her. Susan panicked and try to run. She asked the nurse about the faceless guy but they said a woman found her on the trash bin. Susan was in confusion. There's a lot of things running in her head. Who's that guy? Why did he try to grab her hand? They'll call her crazy for this.
" I think the faceless guy have something to say but he didn't have a chance ". Susan will never forget what happened that day and she's ready for anything to happen in the future.

Sumaiyyah Suleiman, Bauchi State Family Planning M&E Officer
Bauchi State, Nigeria
I have worked with Bauchi State Primary Healthcare Development Agency as a Data Processing Officer since 2013. Before The Challenge Initiative (TCI), as a data officer, I did not know how the District Health Information Software (DHIS) worked and I was collating data for only one local government area. Then I started working as a state counterpart to TCI monitoring and evaluation (M&E) and my capacity has now been built—not only on how to log into the DHIS platform, but how to download data, analyze, and compare it to see the differences and improvements. My capacity has also been strengthened to collate monthly data from health facilities and conduct data quality assessments and share them with implementing partners. It wasn't like this before the coming of TCI. I feel very confident now in my role as M&E Officer of the Family Planning Unit in the Primary Healthcare Development Agency.
