#favorite genre rn honestly #and post darkness falls too #lock em in a room together for weeks at a time! forced domesticity! #idgi 'stranded together'/'captured together' fics are such a staple in sam/jack land i expected quarantine MSR fics to be way more popular #i've enjoyed the ones i've read but.... sure there are more? #tbh i'm struggling to remember how to use gossamer so that's part of it probably #i remember reading one like 20 years ago that I really enjoyed and i haven't found it again yet #scully was trying to spend the time writing a paper about their experience from a pure science pov #and mulder was trying to get her to decerebralize and spend time with him #icr if it was post Darkness Falls or post Firewalker -- or maybe it was an AU quarantine event? maybe that's why i haven't seen it? #anyway! it's scully's first case back post abduction and it it's *that* and then they're put in lockdown for 30 days! the possibilities!
