Pizza Delivery

Prompt: I made my special request for my pizza for them to send their cutest delivery person and you showed up and apologized that you were the only one delivering tonight and I blurted out that they still got my request right

Brian was bored. Of course, he was almost always bored. Playing video games all day is fun and all, but it gets repetitive. And Brian still didn’t know why he was binge-playing every night.

He usually forgot to eat, which would end up in him realizing in the middle of the night whenever most places are closed. This night, Brian made sure to remember to order pizza since he didn’t want to go to McDonald’s again.

He started ordering online since whenever he was on the phone, they always messed up his pizza. Brian clicked what he wanted and was about to press ‘Order’ when he saw the little box in the corner that stated 'Special Request’.

Brian smiled to himself as he clicked in it and put 'Send your cutest delivery person’. Oh, would that start a riot. He hope that it wouldn’t interfere with the pizza getting delivered, and he hoped that they would send out their cutest one. Brian didn’t really care of it was a boy or a girl; as long as they were cute, he was happy.

Brian was playing some random game he found to pass the time when the door rang. He automatically knew it was the pizza and jumped up to run to the door. Brian stopped in front of it to catch his breath before opening it to reveal a very flustered looking man holding the pizza.

He noticed Brian and jumped a bit. “O-oh! Sorry, I didn’t see you there.” Brian stood there for a second and just blinked. The man awkwardly looked around. “S-sorry if this isn’t what you asked for… You see, I was the only one delivering tonight, so…”

Brian continued to stare at the man in front of him. He couldn’t help it; he was just so adorable. Brian pulled his mind out of the gutter to answer the man.

“What? Oh, sorry, I must’ve zoned off there for a second. How much for the pizza?” He asked.

“$12.58.” Brian pulled out his wallet to get the money. 'At least they got my request right,’ Brian thought. “W-what?” Brian froze.

Shit, did he say that out loud?

He looked up to see that he indeed said it out loud as the man’s face was a bright red.

Brian’s face started to turn red aswell. “Shit, I’m sorry, I didn’t mean to say that- I mean not saying that you aren’t cute or anything but- oh fuck…”

Brian mentally facepalmed. The man awkwardly chuckled. “I-I mean, thanks? I don’t normally get compliments, so…” Brian sighed before getting an idea.

“Hey, you got any more deliveries to do tonight?” The man gave him a weird look.

“No. Why?” Brian smiled.

“Well, since I feel bad for making you feel awkward, how about a pizza date? You got no where else to be, so…”

The man blinked at him before smiling. “Sure, I guess. And by the way, my name’s Brock.” Brian smiled.

“Nice to meet you, Brock. My name’s Brian.”
