Listen. I understand why tumblr is recc'ing these two blogs to me. But the juxtaposition is nevertheless amusing.

#yeah the one on the left....oof #it's all aesthetic posts about a romanticized view of Catholicism/Eastern Orthodoxy/monasticism #like REALLY romanticized. #the irony is they reblogged a post about how faith *should* change your entire way of looking at the world #and like.....running an aesthetic blog is Not what OP meant #also Roman Catholicism and Eastern Orthodoxy are pretty different #and the fact that you're mixing them like that just proves your faith is in fact merely aesthetics #and listen as a high church person aesthetics *matter* #but if they're not pointing you towards a deeper faith they're just paint #blah blah blah anyway my ideal church has lots of stained glass AND is full of queers #'yes april we know you're Episcopalian lol' #my life
