idk what kind of music you like so i'll just give some of my faves in various genres hahah and i def for sure left some out but here you go frand :))))
under read more bc i can’t control myself bc i put too many
edit: im sorry mobile viewers if read more didnt work on mobile
so i recently started getting into roo panes (he's a folk artist, i recommend "Land of the Living" and "Tiger Striped Sky")
another folkish song i like is “Fool For Love” by Lord Huron
the gaslight anthem is probs one of my fave bands ever (very hard to distinguish what genre like they're  rock alternative with some punk and americana and a dash of folk if that makes sense ha, i recommend "Handwritten”, “The ‘59 Sound”, “Dark Places”, and “The Backseat”)
speaking of gaslight, brian fallon (lead singer) came out with a solo album with a similar sound and it’s fab, I like “Red Lights”, “Honey Magnolia”, “Smoke”, and “Nobody Wins”
speaking of Brian, he has a side project called the Horrible Crowes and I really like “Behold the Hurricane”, “Ladykiller”, and “Crush”
i also started getting into the wrecks, they only have an ep out right now, but they are indie alt rock, “Favorite Liar” is a fab fab fab song and I also like “I Don’t Like You”
i wish i listened to these guys more, but frightened rabbit is rocking too, theyre indie rock and i like the songs “The Loneliness and the Scream” and “Break”
Some random indie songs i like are “Bonfire” by The Hunna, “Cleopatra” by The Lumineers, “Knuckles” by Moose Blood, “Talk Too Much” by COIN, “Love Me Better” by Love Thy Brother, “Human Being” by Chris Farren, and “Say U Want Me” also by Chris Farren.
and sorta relating to indie, CHVRCHES is like electronic snytho pop and I really like “Make Them Gold” “Empty Threat” and “We Sink”
some kinda harder stuff (more punk rock) are below
Against Me!: I really like “White Crosses”, “Thrash Unreal”, and “FUCKMYLIFE666″
Alkaline Trio: I really like “Clavicle”, “Lead Poisoning”, “Mercy Me”, and “Calling all Skeletons”
The Bouncing Souls: I really like “Ghosts on the Boardwalk” and “Ship in a Bottle” and “Kids and Hereos” and “True Believers”
Dave Hause is more on the rock side of punk rock with a small minuscule dash of folk (also if you end up looking him up, look up the live versions theyre so much better) “Resolutions”, “We Could Be Kings”, and “Jane”, which is a song by his band The Loved Ones
Jared Hart: I really like “Run Around” and “Heads or Tails”
And last but not least is my absolute fave Pearl Jam, they are grunge, but very all over the rock spectrum so i tried to include a variety my fave albums are “No Code” (fave songs off of that are “Who You Are” and “Smile”), “Yield” (I like “Given to Fly” and “MFC”) and “Binaural” (”LIGHT YEARS” IS MY CURRENT FAVE SONG BY THEM also I like “Insignificance”) also “Better Man”, “Release”, “Love Boat Captain”, “Comatose”, “Come Back”, “Swallowed Whole”, “Animal”, and “Unthought Known” are all fab (especially the live versions!!!!! LISTEN TO THE LIVE VERSIONS!!!) and some of my fave covers they do are “Baba O’Riley”, “Chloe Dancer/Crown of Thorns”, and “I Am a Patriot” (both the fast and ‘slow’ version)
