From what I understand you guys are finally getting a lot of Bradley IFVs, and I think you'll be getting long-range ATACMS as well, so hopefully the Russian advances will be reversed sooner rather than later :D

As an American I've been unhappy with political dysfunction in my country costing so many lives in yours, but if it's any consolation it seems my Representatives have FINALLY agreed to aid to your army and there shouldnt be any more problems after this. Hope it's a bit of good news for you :D

Biden just signed the aid bill. We are grateful for the help, although I can't stop thinking about the time that has been lost, all the people that got killed in that time and the grounds lost. Russians are advancing in several directions, precisely because we had run out of ammo to stop them.

In any case, thank you for the supportiveness and the kindness! And all the other people who have cared. It genuinely means a lot!

If it might be reassuring to you guys, the US House of Representatives has finally passed the aid package that's been held up for months. It's very late due to Republican intransigence, but better late than never, as an Amerifat myself I have to admit that Churchill's quip about us doing the right thing only after we've tried everything else holds true. Even so, now that it's finally passed, and it's pretty big too, hopefully we can start pushing Russia back.

Not gonna lie, my morale is at the lowest point it's been since the beginning of the invasion. Russians are successfully occupying more and more territories and shell frontline regions every day. People are dying, our culture and herritage is destroyed. International aid dwindled significantly because of american bullshit. Mobilization law has been signed and there is a chance that my family members get conscripted soon. Don't even get me started on internal political problems. A bunch of articles in foreign media talking about our defeat and "peace talks" (what a joke).

It feels like there were no at least moderately good news in a while. On top of that, the feeling that we are screaming into the void is stronger than ever. I'm happy when I see a foreigner online supporting us and spreading the word, because it gets rarer. Ukrainians feel like none of what's happening gets outside our info bubble. Most likely no one but Ukrainians will see this post either. Honestly don't know what to make of all of this.

Went to a new place on Friday, April 19, 2024 - Tai Chi Bubble Tea! Had some brown rice with tofu, cream cheese, bacon bits, chicken, mushrooms, etc. I'm kinda suspicious of cold food...maybe next time I'll have the ramen.
