According to my Facebook memories it's been four years now since I started working on my first real embroidery project. Four years since I got irretrievably hooked on embroidery! So in honor of that, here is a repost of the project that started it all.
Side note, if you look close you can literally see the learning process in this piece. I think so at least. I can tell which of the big flowers was the first one stitched, and which was the last, simply by the quality of the satin stitch. And I can tell which bullion knots are less practiced. Etc.

More from the archives. This time an in progress pic of my first craftivist embroidery. The first of many. Lure people in with something pretty, and then you make them learn something new. Is the hope anyway. Or piss off some bigots, that's fine too.

Another detail from another old project. This was one of my first projects and some bits of it makes me cringe nowadays lol, but this honeysuckle flower still makes me happy.

From the archives. A memory from the 2020 toilet paper shortage. And my first real embroidery project. Because who doesn't need a sweary floral wreath for the toilet. Wasn't happy with the empty toilet paper roll in the end, so frogged it and turned the whole thing into floral wreath. But it's a fun memory.
Side note: you can definitely tell which was the first flower I did, which was the second and which was the third. Satin stitch learning process...
