recently, ive been trying to write down everyone's lore in a document rather than just having it in my notes app. or in rambles i write on discord in which i VAGUELY describe whats going on with them its been fun! i like thinking about my guys MY FAVORITE THING ABOUT IT RECENTLY has been that arlen forrest and nikolai work together very closely (i imagine they're in a small group of wizards that was made to handle some of the issues on the three streets and colossus boulevard but they've stuck together even afterwards to handle anything, should it come up) but that because arlen is so introverted and also dealing with the whole brain ghost thing, he doesn't talk much! and he basically third wheels these two anyways. every interaction i have of them in my head, arlen is probably a few feet in front of them being tormented in his mind by a ghost and not saying anything about it. it cracks me up a little, the poor thing

nikolai and forrest are storm/myth rivals because i'm so endeared by the opposing school dynamics. i think that in terms of creativity, nikolai is like... well he's bad at it. he's so bad with making things and invention. but he's very persistent. forrest is very noncommittal with all her creative things, i imagine she writes down a billion really cool ideas for poems and never really elaborates on any of them. their rivalry was (and still kind of is) one-sided because nikolai was the one who approached forrest and she just thought they were friends. and at one point, nikolai mentioned very off-handedly that they were rivals and forrest was like "........we're rivals????" and even now, she says they are friends/rivals but doesn't treat it any differently. nikolai however is committed to this bit but he is so. lame about it like he is trying to be better than forrest at certain things but he's so bad at it????? it's funny, he always says "oh i'll get it next time" and then he Doesnt
