"The everlasting party in the dephths of the Unnamed Dream World still goes strong. This time however, Gengetsu skips her turn, letting Mugetsu handle the turntables instead. With a little bit of gentle mentoring and relentless cheering to boost her confidence, the younger twin seems to have just as much fun as her sister did before her!" Fun fact: This track was made from an early draft of "Anemoia", Gengetsu's nearly identical track from volume 1. Since they were made from the same base project, this effectively makes those tracks themselves twins, like the characters! my special interests are very specific sometimes which comes as a shock to someone when they reference one of them, say LLS, and i just don't shut up about it for like the next 4 hours .

#i love pc98 touhou so much #made myself late for work just talking at people about the pc98 games and specifically LLS #like i don't know everything about LLS but even still i can't help but not gush about that game i love it so much i love the music #and characters and gameplay it's self and the mood and the subtle artsyle changes and patterns and eepy yuuka and then not so eepy yuuka #hell. a part of my love for LLS stems from the fact that it's the only touhou game I've played that I've achieved the most in. #got my first normal and hard 1ccs in that game. did a few normal mode no bomb runs in that game. #i never bothered doing achievements as hard in any other touhou game as I do LLS #even now. even though I've 1cc'd that game like nearly 15 times I still get chills from stage 6 yuuka and it's the best thing ever #even just booting up the game makes me happy it's like an instant serotonin release for me #i wish i could compose and draw and program because i'd loooove to make a pc98 touhou style fangame or smth #reimblimg

another of these touhou arrangements i made in high school, this time based of Zun's MIDI rendition of Judas Kiss because that version goes fucking hard, I'd still like to change the drums and bassline a bit so it's not just the original MIDI with different instruments slapped on it.

[WARNING: FLASHING LIGHTS]

:^) Lotus Land Story, Lunatic 1cc, with ReimuA!! This is my second ever Lunatic 1cc

This one's been a long time in the making. LLS was my first Hard 1cc ever, way back in 2010. I felt so sure that a Lunatic 1cc was on the horizon….. but, well. LLS is a bit special when it comes to Lunatics ;;

LLS and MS don't just bump up the difficulty of the patterns/enemies. They also have nearly every enemy shoot tiny, white, aimed bullets at you…… constantly. Including the enemies that come up from the bottom of the screen or that surround you. That, combined with LLS's notorious "choke points" (Stage 4 midboss, Rings of Doom, Yuuka's finale), makes LLS Lunatic a lot more frustrating than it should be ;; But, with the extremely generous extra lives and free bombs, it's (thankfully) still doable!!

I'm not gonna lie, this run was Sloppy. But, I'm really glad I decided to record "just in case", and that I managed to pull out a win in the end :) Maybe someday I'll come back for a cleaner run, or try to clear with Marisa instead, but for now, I'm satisfied.
