i was thinking of a cute little fluffy fic that the reader craves something in the middle of the night, waking Pietro up and he runs to the store without even questioning it and getting it. maybe the reader says she wants something sweet but Pietro knows she hates sweets so he gets both something salty/spicy and sweets so he won't get into trouble? does it makes sense or is my brain broken???

pietro maximoff x fem!reader — fluff

Sometimes, you knew what you wanted, and on those other times, you had no clue. 

You were struggling to get back to sleep, the thought of a post-midnight snack heavy on your mind. You didn't exactly know what you wanted - maybe it was a bit of everything.

Your slight tossing woke Pietro, and as if it were instinctual, his head poked up from his curled-up arm, brows furrowed above his tired, hooded eyes.

"What's wrong, baby? Can't sleep?" he asks, extending an arm, reaching to hold the middle of you.

You shake your head, scooching closer to him. "No. I want something, but I don't know what."

He presses a kiss into your cheek, closing his eyes as he nuzzles into you. "Like what?" he whispers, tone soft and sleepy. 

"I don't know, like a snack. Maybe, sweets, I'm not sure," you shrug faintly, cosying up into Pietro - trying to distract your brain from your unknown cravings. 

But he slips from your grasp, sitting up and standing from the bed. He trudges across the room —zombified from being woken up— and slides on a hoodie and a pair of shorts. He collects his phone and card, shoving it in his pocket before walking over to kiss you. "Let me see what I can do about that."

And before you could even process what he was up to, mere moments later, he was back - standing at the foot of the bed, a bag in hand and a gentle grin on his face.

"You didn't?" you smile, talking in disbelief, watching him pull items from the bag. 

"If you didn't know what you want, then I definitely don't know what you want," he chuckles, slightly more awake than those minutes before. "So I got a few things," he explains, showing you the goodies he bought. 

He hands you a variety of snacks: sweet, salty, spicy, sour, anything he could find really - picking up things he was almost certain you loved. 

"You're so cute," you playfully frown at him, watching him undress and plop himself back beside you. "Thank you," you smile and kiss his cheek, then reach for one of the packets surrounding you.

He hums cutely, lounging into you - resuming his prior sleeping position. "I put water on your nightstand," he whispers.

You whisper back so as not to disturb him again. "You're the best," you rake through his hair, watching him doze off - eyes fluttering shut. "Thank you. I love you."

"I know," he murmurs, faintly smiling.

uu uuu tan buying the reader a special edition of her favorite book because he knew she'll freak out once she saw it?????

(i'm in my tan era... since i first saw him...)

this so so cute and it IMMEDIATELY reminded me of that episode of friends!! (don’t worry, me too… it’s been a rough near 2 years)

tan has his resources, he's got connections. he knows people. he can find anything in a matter of minutes, but NOT the special edition of your favourite book!! it would not be easy. he'd make tonnes of calls, trying to get info but would come up empty every time. he'd search ebay top to bottom (even across seas) antique shops, the biggest bookstores in the country, every website he could find, different shops when he's abroad for work. he would even look on facebook ?!?!?? (which he hates, but it's for you so he does it)

then maybe he sees that someone knows a person who has one, and then they exchange numbers. he asks if it's for sale, they say no. so then he finds their address and kills them and steals the book… just kidding lol. but he asks them if they are willing to sell and would offer thousands for it. he would pay any amount of money to get that book for you. maybe it's not going so well, so he tries a little pity party, saying how he's been after it for weeks trying to get it for you

maybe the person has no use for it anymore, maybe they're old?? so after hearing what tan said, they'd want to give it for free (crying) tan would say no, saying how he'd try somewhere else and that he wants them to keep the book. maybe they say "take it, make your girl happy"

tan would obvs pay them, giving them a couple hundred more for being so nice/ for the troubles

he'd wouldn't be able to wait to give it to you !!

I get that soft, tender men isn’t for everyone, but you’re kinda missing out if you don’t like them like that (I don’t make the rules) I can understand the point of how it may mess with their canonically written characteristics, but ehh idk. also yeah, it’s fiction. it’s made up, it all is 😭😭

oh shit i just read you like other characters more then Pietro...so i wanna change my request and add if you want to write another character, go for it!! i just tought it would be a good plot because of Pietro's super speed. just write however you want to sweetie because honestly i devour everything you write <33

I honestly never really notice them !! it’s like my brain automatically makes sense of a sentence if parts of it are ‘wrong’😭😭 and yours are hardly noticeable ‘mistakes’ anyway, so you’re all good!! (also your english is very very good!!) I make typos ALL the time, so id never judge ESPECIALLY if it’s not your first language. you’re in good hands my lovely 💓💓
