In-depth experimentation on Materiality- Extension:
When I saw this apple carton next to the trash recycling bin, I got an idea. I will continue to extend my material experiments with apple cartons, acrylic, La Doll clay, colored transparent plastic, celle sheet, pearls, and gem stickers.
I will use different materials to create a sensual and romantic space. My painting is inspired by Monet, Jean-Baptiste Bernadet, whose paintings bring me infinite tenderness and romance.
First, I used acrylic to paint the apple carton white for better coloring later. Then I used La doll clay to make the pattern I wanted. I think the clay makes the painting more three-dimensional. Then I continued the colors from the last material experiment to paint a dreamy feeling.
Then I cut the celle sheet and the colored transparent plastic to the right size and put them on top of the "small window" of the apple carton. I think when light shines into the box, the light and shadow inside will be very gorgeous!
Then I pasted pearls and gem stickers on the inside of the painting to make the picture more fantastic. Here are some details of my artwork.
