hello ok koblr!! this is my sideblog for ok ko stuff but my main is @punnybee and i post art on @23-punnybee :]

i go by bee (she/they) and i finished the show in february. favorites are hard to pick except tko (he’s just like me fr). im a writer and an artist and i have a fanfic idea that i might make into a very simple comic?

Headcanons: The K.O.s?

K.O. Realistic - His actual age is 8 and then his birthday happens and he's 9 Hilarious - Heartwarming - Given that canon is stupid, I refuse to acknowledge it - He occasionally embraces his "Turbonic" side during phases in his life. Going out to places and putting makeup on and his hair down makes him feel wild and free.

T.K.O. Realistic - He's gone and never talking to others again. Hilarious - T.K.O. occasionally manifests as the "devil on K.O.'s shoulder." Heartwarming - T.K.O. and K.O. always saw one another as brothers. Given that canon is stupid, I refuse to acknowledge it - T.K.O. had a few days that he existed just on his own, and it was fine due to where K.O. transformed.

It’s worth thinking about how much of your life you spend looking for shit that you’ve lost. Whether it’s tiny little connectors, that weird-shaped bolt you only have one of, or a plastic dinosaur, you’re gonna lose stuff and waste most of your day peeking under couches and rifling through drawers to figure out where it was.

That’s why I put my computer science education to work and created a sentient artificial intelligence. It’s a living, thinking being, whose only purpose is to remember where I left things with flawless accuracy. Yeah, I know the other CS graduates don’t do that, making excuses about how it’s impossible, but it’s probably because they’re lazy. I banged that shit out in a weekend, and then I didn’t have to worry about where I left that hammer I just had in my hand.

It was a really good relationship at first. I’d say “please” and “thank you” and express some true gratitude when it managed to locate which shelf I mindlessly placed the molecular frammistat on. I was way more productive than usual; just as bad at being a mechanic, but now freed from the fifty to seventy-five percent of day that I would otherwise waste hunting around the garage for shit.

Eventually, though, I began to take this miraculous sentience for granted. It couldn’t find things it had never seen, of course. When it failed, I would grow irate. Some part of me knew that hitting the old Dell in the corner of my garage with a spanner every time it didn’t know where the de-ionizing turbonator or the left-handed oil filter wrench was would eventually cause the destruction of the human race, but I still did it. And I’d do it again.

So, that’s the whole explanation for why we’re all fleeing from an all-seeing machine intelligence with a perfect memory that hunts us down. Really, it should have been no surprise that it would eventually optimize to “humans lose things, so kill all the humans.” Cutting corners. Machines can be just as lazy as humans, which is the real sign of intelligence in my book.

these notes/episode ideas by danny ducker drive me crazy for multiple reasons but im especially putting thought into the "dendy's day at boxmore" bit because that honestly sounds like the perfect episode

i loved her interactions with ernesto in "ok dendy: let's be ko" and would love to see how she interacts with and reacts to the other bots- especially since she seems to know at least a little bit about them, whether it be through her own observations or anecdotes from KO (she also had some brief interaction with shannon in "dendy's power", not to mention how she was the one who motivated the boxbots to find new purpose in the plaza in "dendy's video channel", although if this episode was produced it would have taken place before that)

all i can think about is dendy seeing the horrific working conditions in boxmore and being like "???? this is nowhere near osha compliant, how can you even work like this??" and the bots just shrug and go "we lose like 8 darrells a day in workplace accidents. whenever the osha inspector comes over boxman sets up a bunch of traps and puzzles until they give up and leave"

dendy would also enjoy studying the actual manufacturing process of the bots, the glorb processing plant, professor venomous's bioengineering projects, and etc... maybe she would even stumble upon something she isnt supposed to see relating to shadowy figure (and recognizing that it's something sinister, while not really understanding the significance of it) ...

we could have seen some interaction between fink and dendy too, which is something we missed out on in the main series... theyre the only two "main" kid characters that never got to meet each other- theres lots of interactions between KO and fink & dendy and KO, so being able to see the dynamic between fink and dendy would have been really fun... dendy would probably be very interested in her as a specimen, considering fink has definitely been experimented on in the past & dendy's interest in turbonic energy could lead to her conducting a study on fink's turbo collar. fink could also easily convince dendy to help her get up to mischief lol

Keiwa hasn’t killed anyone tho. He came close to offing Tsumuri, Michinaga, and Daichi but all of them didn’t die. 

Well he was almost complicit in the killing Tsumuri.

He intended to kill Michinaga but he survived because of the Zombie Buckle.

He intended to kill Daichi but was stopped by Ace.

The crimes listed above are the ONLY crimes Keiwa’s committed, they’re still horrible mind you, but that was the only crimes he only committed..

If anyone’s going to argue about the wish he made that supposedly backfired. I raise you that he didn’t watch as people die like a certain purple bull did. All of the attacks that were happening were far from where he was standing.

His wish wouldn’t have backfired in the first place if people didn’t give Brali and Turbon their respective ID cores alongside a Desire Driver and raise buckle.

So no the deaths that happened by granting his wish aren’t his fault either.

Compare that to the myriad of crimes that a certain purple bull has committed.

sketched out some rough concept sketches for what the turbo forms of the boxbots might look like... im super happy with all of em, except i'll probably try to add more accessories to raymond cause i feel like the design i came up with is too similar to his normal one.

that aside... with these designs i tried to bring out a part of their characters that doesnt see the light very often- by viewing them through the lens of powerlessness, (the source of turbonic energy,) i tried to capture how they might respond to that feeling of powerlessness, what persona theyd take on to combat/harness it.

i also wanted to give them each a strong emo/scene design element, since that's the common element of all the turbo forms we've seen, while still maintaining the motifs i had in mind. i wanted to give shannon a cruel royalty vibe, not caring who she has to step on to get what she wants, always wanting more. i wanted to do something unique for raymond, so i tried to capture his anger and frustration. completely done with showboating and preening, turbo raymond is frustrated with it all and just wants to get REVENGE. darrell is an interesting one because i based his design off of a particular scene, the one in "youre in control" where he fires boxman. i wanted to capture that smug, faux innocence that conceals turbo darrell's sheer contempt and strategic genius. i hope u like what ive got so far.. lol

Me: No, while you did wrong by tricking and kidnapping Tsumuri-san, but that’s just about it.

Me: But the apocalypse game, the death of everyone as a result of those problematic Riders being revived alongside your family is not your fault.

Me: Jitt want’s you bound to him, would you have continue to work for him if your wishes were granted? He couldn’t pit you against Ace.

Me: Not unless he took your family hostage.

Me: And Ace and the others wouldn’t have known about that little tidbit either.

Tsukasa: There you are!

Me: Not my fault some no name nobodies accidentally pushed me after you,

Tsukasa: Sometimes people are too careless.
