i rly was gonna answer “my top 5 2pm songs is just adtoy listed five times” and i wouldve meant it unironically lmao but i decided to give it a little more thot and couldnt decide on just 5 so u get 10! (kind of lol...and im just keeping it to korean songs bc we also all know that the top 5 japanese 2pm songs is just im your man listed five times, with honourable mention to goodbye again. no i will not discuss)

1) adtoy - im not even gonna explain. i have laid out all the facts (the facts being: jun.k in adtoy), and at some point the people will have to decide whether they have taste or not

2) red - the way this song is neglected is borderline abuse.....like u kno the part where taecyeon raps in his sex chatline voice + jun.k adlibs + the group bg vocals "reeeEeEeeeeEEeed".....if that part was made into an nft i would suddenly believe in the worth of cryptocurrency

3) giv u class. - wooyoung has done nothing wrong in his life. in his LIFE

4) mundeuk - my music vetting process basically boils down to is it 1) sad or is it 2) sexy. adtoy is ultimate sexiness and on the other end of the spectrum mundeuk is ultimate sadness. jun.k rly was both down bad and in his bag when he wrote this song, and we thank him for his service

5) rain - the perfect combo of sad and sexy. also the perfect combo of jun.k/junho vocals. like that high note before the last chorus....their live performance of it during the go crazy world tour in seoul....idk why they dont harmonize more in songs bc they sound SO good together. also if its chansungs fav 2pm song then its everyones fav song. also wow can u believe chansungs getting married and having a baby?? we luv a family man <3

6) pull&pull - the pining in this song....to this day my ringtone is my mp3 cutting of jun.k's part in the bridge where he goes "nan neomanui baby/namanui lady/meomchul su eobseoseo". actually the whole part from the bridge to the end of the song is just mwah

7) don't you know - the pining in this song x2, but make it fun! lmao its actually such a sad song but it never fails to lift my spirits up...the way jun.k sings dugeun dugeun....bella swan i am unequivocally and irrevocably in love with him monologue.txt

8) without u - wooyoung’s verse...he has done nothing wrong in his life. in his LIFE x2

9-10) im rly cheating now but that arc in no.5 from hallucination to red is just INSANE....like that whole album is just sexy bop after sexy bop but that arc specifically....i always say grown is my fav 2pm album d/t sentimental reasons (aka its the era i became an official Hottest™ bc like the members themselves have said it was the turning point of their music/image...also adtoy lol) but imo sonically no.5 is their best and most cohesive album to date
